The Boardroom Salon for Men - Allen
Reviews
I cannot recommend this place. I tried it once. Nice corporate decor, even a pool table. So looks to me like: Big on 'gimmick' factor, but a good haircut?--not so much. I don't mind paying $40+ for a good haircut, but my haircut was well below average. My stylist came across as inexperienced with high end clientele, probably lots of experience at cheapo salons (which I avoid), & frankly did not appear that interested in servicing me. Where can you get a consistently good $40-50 men's haircut around here??? I guess I'll have to try T&G again.
Hit but mostly MISS. No consistency with the experience of whom ever is cutting my hair this time, or the quality of the services delivered. I have been to The Boardroom several times, rarely seeing the same person more than twice. $40 is too much to pay for a basic cut to ask me if I want the clippers. My last visit started with a requested slight trim that ended up removing 50%. One star is worthy of free beer. Save your $ go to another place (that has ESPN).
Hit or miss here... I have gotten the best and worst haircut there, so i guess it really depends on who is providing the service. I prefer other locations over the Allen spot.
I have been going to the Boardroom since we moved here almost 8 months ago. I was so pleased with Renee that I purchased the year long membership where I can get the Benchmark cut and massage anytime I want. Great atmosphere and good place to just unwind, relax and get some male grooming done.
As always, great haircut and service with April
