walked in today with pain in my hands, walked out feeling like I have normal hands again! I've received a few awesome massages from doug already. he uses a variety of techniques and chooses them depending on what he feels is needed. lots of tapotement (which I find relaxing), swedish and deep stuff...some stretches, myofascial release, triggerpoint. I like that he is very aware of what he's working on, he's not just a massage therapist on autopilot rubbing away. I get results from the sessions - less pain, more mobility. I've also heard wonderful things about Cindy...because she is super popular and always busy, I've yet to experience a massage from her but I look forward to the time it can happen. OH, and their new office is nice...big open windows in the reception area, nice treatment rooms.

Bodywise's massage is very useful to me. I have been going to them for this therapy for over a year. Compare to other places, their massage is more effective and less painful. Highly recommend.

I've worked with Doug about ten times now and after working with many other masseuses (sp?) I chosen him for many reasons. He listens to what I want and need, and follows through on that. My focus is on improving my posture and because he's trained in many disciplines he can approach my body's challenges using a number of techniques. He explains what he's doing when I want to know and most important, he's strong. I am not looking for relaxation, but physical improvement, and I've seen benefit to his methods of shifting my body into better posture. I highly recommend him. At BodyWise I've also worked twice with Cindy Taylor, who is also exceptional.

I had a Groupon for a massage. It's a long story but the bottom line is that they refused to honor my Groupon because I was not at my appointment 15 mins. early. In fact, I was going to be late because i forgot my Groupon at home and stopped to get cash for a tip. I was not told that i needed to be there 15 mins. early when i scheduled the appointment. I was offered half a massage at a later time, but not the full massage because I had violated the fine print of the Groupon. Hmm....sounds like a business that doesn't really want to build a customer base. Anyway, I got my money back from Groupon and I would never recommend this establishment to anyone. A massage is something that you look forward to...something relaxing and comforting....not the case here.

I have had a lot of massages, but received a massage last week from Doug, and it was the best I've had. He listened to what my problem areas were, and worked accordingly. I have another massage scheduled for next week, he is that good. Thank you Bodywise, i'm telling all my friends about you.
