• It was a complete disappointment at New Year party 2015 at Meenakshi Resort, Jigini, Banglore, for my group which includes my wife and friends who came to celebrate here from US & Japan. • New Year party at Meenakshi Resort was more like a Marwari weeding function where entertainment mainly organized for organizers family, their relative, their political connections, police connection and government officers connections. It was like Goyal family & their connections were enjoying on our money. • Girls and ladies were only allowed to dance for 30 min, that too after multiple requests otherwise it was not in their event plan. Off the stage, even host was suggesting girls not to dance because of bad crowd in the party. Staffs was totally surprised when we expressed them that we want to dance. One staff told us “Madam, you relay want to dance? ”. And all this was happening in Bangalore. • Girls were asked step down from dance floor at 11:30pm to fully drunken cheap people, organizer, their relatives & friends to dance over stage. • Drinks were served like a desi theka inside a closed area and there people were taking video of girls who came to take drinks, even after complaining to organizer they didn't do anything. • Drunken people miss-behaved with girls during over dance stage, organizer tried to control it, but at 11:30 pm, they told us to get down from dance stage as now they are not able control people. • Organizer & staffs behavior shows that this resort is not safe for girls / ladies at night. • Only 6-8 young couple were seen in party, rest people came like it is a marriage function. • We paid RS 15000/- for two room, one night stay and party. It don't deserve even 2000/-. • Instead of professional DJ, orchestra was organized with some local singers who were singing old Lata & Kishore songs. Poor local DJ were playing in party, who use to play in marriage party. • It seems organizers were not able to sale much tickets online, and distributed it among their connections and cheap people. • We felt like odd people among the crowed everybody was staring at girls who were in normal party dress. It was like we came to a remote village and standing between narrow minded uneducated cheap people. • It was worst party, we ever had attended in life. • One of the organizer’s goyal family member become very rude to us when we complaint about bad New Year party organization, we thought it's better to be silent and leave the place asap. • Recommending to avoid this resort for any party event. It may be fit for only corporate day team outing. • In morning there was no managerial and operation staff in resort till 9 am. • We found 2 of the servicing staffs drunk in morning too. • Phone network and Internet not working inside building. • During party only low cost beer were provided. • Third grade and very limited food were provided • We checked in around 3 pm, no snacks and food were provided before 8pm. • Meenakshi Resort management is terrible in customer service, food, room service, location maintenance, event organization, crowd management and ladies security. • Geyser & AC were not working in room and when we complaint, at mid night they asked us to change the room, because staff were not able to correct it. • Most of Chinese furniture items were used in resort and in newly constructed building water was licking from room in seating area. • No menu were provided, no phone were provided in room. For ordering anything every time we need to go to reception and kitchen. • In breakfast only oily items were provided, and when we requested Managing Director of Resort for Idly or dosa, he told us that staff slept at 4am in morning so no additional items will be available, whereas he was telling to a group of govt. officers family “whatever you want we’ll provide you in breakfast”. • In order to forget this poor New Year party, we went to pub DJ party for next 3 days continuously.

Meenakshi Resorts is the best place for corporate team outing and families also.. Its peace place and a good place for relaxation. All in door, out door activities and adventure activities are superb...!! Mist-dance attached next to Swimming pool was very good.. Food was excellent to taste and un-limited. Staffs are well groomed, educated and supportive. Totally i and my team had a wonderful outing at Meenakshi Resorts and its strongly recommended..!!

I went with a couple of friends and the hospitality there was amazing! We went there for one day. Beautiful beautiful place. You have got Archery, Shooting, ATV, Rope activities, Zorbing and many more. For Outdoor Activities, you have cricket, basketball and for Indoor you have, caroms, snooker, foosball, badminton, table tennis and the best part is for Indoor games, they have all the necessary equipments. Loved the breakfast and the buffet lunch! Amazing staff.

Visit date: 11-5-2014. I hated it. worst experiences. Will never ever come here again. Will not suggest anyone who want to visit this resort for fun. SMALLEST ever Swimming Pool. Not clean water. All activities not free. Will give two coupon which can use for max one or two activity. Then pay per activity. So disappointed to come here.

First of all I am, I am surprised to see many 5 star rating for this resort!. I have been to many resorts over the past 5-6 years. This is the worst of all. It was a waste of time and money. Although there is long list of fun/adventure activities claimed by the resort, none of them seem to be in place properly. The zorbing(water and land) was in maintenance, but looked like it had been catching dust from a long time. Bull rodeo machine stopped working every 15 mins. There is no cricket pitch. The volley ball court and badminton court are the same !!. The basket ball court is too small. The indoor sports arena was just bad. No proper TT bats, the pool table is just for a show. I have never seen such a small pool table. The swimming pool was also bad, it was just too small. The only average thing was the food.. Hope the management reads this and takes some corrective action.
