I have to disagree with these reviews. I'm a current student here at Bay Vista. Yes we do practice on dollheads mainly because we are still learning procedures such as facials, coloring, cutting and waxing. They don't want us to work on actual people yet because there is specific ways things need to be done to protect your client. However, I have been here 3 weeks and I have practiced facials, hair styles, and eyebrow shaping on actual people not just my doll head. Our A/C works fine, my teachers are ALWAYS willing to help and answer any questions I have or that other students have. So far I'm loving Bay Vista, and I'm sorry the people who have written the other reviews don't feel the same but they probably weren't committed to learning and maybe the beauty industry isn't right for them. I do encourage people who are thinking about attending beauty school to go to the open houses at the bellus campuses before applying to make sure this is the right career for you.
