Where do I start. I booked a spa party here, on a whim. The website looked elegant and the deposit was $50. I called to book, and did my deposit over the phone without seeing the spa (BAD DECISION). Went in to sign the contracts and saw the place for the first time. It looked like a rundown apartment, with bogus paneling, kitchen tables and worn out spa chairs. The pedicure tubs were actually over-sized mixing bowl and large stewing pots! Just terrible. I immediately wanted to cancel my reservation, but was informed that the deposit was not refundable, even though I did it over the phone without viewing the premises. I felt as though their website was false advertising. Well, I asked to speak to the owner and she was nice...we talked and she made me feel more comfortable about the spa, the condition it would be in that day and the quality of the services I would receive. At that point, I signed the contract, which basically said that if someone in your "party" cancels you'll be held responsible for the amount of their service.. I didn't like this clause and the owner waived it for me. Okay so the day of the spa party arrives, it was supposed to start at 12pm, I was running late, as well as four other people, but one of my friends had arrived. There was too ghetto looking girls there who the owner claimed were a nail technician and massage therapist. Both were not dressed properly. The nail tech looked like she just jumped out the bed without even washing up. The "massage therapist" had a nasty attitude and kept saying what she was not going to do. When you expect to come to a business and you're a paying customer, the first thing that you do not want to hear is "I'm not doing that" or "That'll take too long." The mixing bowls came back out and that was where we had our feet done in. The nail tech painted our nails like she had arthritis. My 4 year old could of did better. And the prices were 20% more than a regular nail salon. It' was super overpriced to be soaking my feet in a mixing bowl, while looking at a dirty girl in a worn out massage chair in a room that dub as a crack house. At the end of the day, had I checked the reviews on this place instead of going by the "website" photos-- I would have never, ever, ever, ever spent my money here. I will never go back. Just horrible.
