Seasons Spa & Salon
Reviews
I was part of a wedding party that came to Seasons Spa and Salon for updos. Donna was the stylist who did my hair, and it was the WORST experience I have ever had at a salon. She didn't know what she was doing, she stabbed me in the head with hairpins repeatedly, she blamed my hair for her own incompetence, and finally she had an emotional breakdown and gave up mid-hairdo. The other stylist had to come to the rescue to salvage the mess. It was SO unprofessional, and on top of that, it was outrageously expensive. I tried to approach the salon privately and calmly by sending a letter detailing my experience, but I received no response. Then I commented on the photo Seasons posted of me as a "happy customer" on the business's Facebook page, and the administrator took down my comment and locked it from new comments. Obviously, Seasons knows I had a bad experience and just doesn't care. Do yourself a favor and just go to a different salon. I certainly wish I had.
I would have given no stars at all if that was a possibility. Beware of this place !!!!!!!!!! I was at this salon for a facial which was long due.Little i knew that i would rather receive this racist treatment. The aesthetician "Melissa" asked me the moment i entered, to fill some paperwork.and asked me if i am ok with filling it in English.I was a little taken back by her snarky comment so i politely asked what makes you think i would not be.To which she replied you are an Indian and lots of Indians are not, who have recently moved here. Lady i am a technical grad and work with a big MNC,you better keep your racist opinions to yourself. I was like what are you even talking about,English has been my second language since i was 3 and i find your comment a little rude that you have been generalizing me.Now instead of apologizing the lady is giving me attitude and said well if you think I am rude I am not going to give you a facial...Whoaaaaaah I was there to pamper myself and hellooooo i am a paying customer,I do not need your generalized comments and opinions about my origin to spoil my weekend. I am never mean to people until they piss me off but this was just too much.Certainly i am not going back and would not recommend this place to non-whites,because you are not going to be treated with respect otherwise. I am super upset and never ever going again.
Dee Patterson no longer works there...
I've been going to Seasons for the past couple of years and loved it. I've gotten my hair cuts with Mandi and I think she is amazing. However, I recently got my eyebrows waxed and I was so disappointed. I've always went to the same person Jenn, but now she is no longer there. I tried someone else and I regret my decision. I have never had my skin literally ripped off during a waxing. I had a scar over my eye lid where my skin was ripped. The solution to the problem was a free eyebrow wax and some lotion to "hopefully" help heal the area. Seriously?! A free eyebrow wax with you again? Although I love Mandi, I can't go back there after what happened.
After relocating from the east coast, I had a couple of pathetic cuts and colors before a friend recommended Seasons and specifically Brandi. Thrilled to have found her! Not sure what that previous review was about but she has been extremely consistent with my color and cuts over the last year or so. At my last appointment, she showed me a photo and I went with her instincts to change it up. Just got back from a trip from DC and about ten people complimented my cut including my 23 year old sis in law who wished that her stylist could have cut her hair as well. Edgy, flattering etc. Never had this many random compliments on my hair so I thought a positive review was totally needed to recognize good work. I seriously never post reviews but even my brother in law said that my hair looked great when he saw me over Christmas and that is saying a lot!
