Purchased a Groupon for massage/facial and it was great. Melissa is wonderful and sweet, as well as the staff. From there I bought another Groupon for a Keritan treatment. I bought a Groupon special for the Unique Salon & Spa in Plainview. I bought one half head of highlights and a haircut. My hair is short in a choppy messy sort of way and the deal I received was a really good deal. The Salon was very neat and clean all everyone that works there was extremely pleasant. I could see that the staff was not just friendly towards the clients but they were also very friendly and considerate to each other which I found to be very refreshing. Joanna was the girl that did my hair. She asked me how I wanted my highlights and I left that up to her....I explained to her the best to my ability how I like my haircut. I also told her I had a hard time sitting still for so long so I took out my kindle. Joanna was terrific!! She gave me perfect highlights that complimented my short hair perfectly. She cut my hair exactly the way that I explained it to her and she styled it the exact way that I wear it. We both received compliments from other clients as well as staff. Unique was a terrific experience and I would definitely go back and see Joanna!!

They have handbags and costume jewelry in the store totally cute stuff with great prices! If you need to do some last minute shopping for a birthday or something they have beautiful pieces. Get your hair done then do a little shopping!
