***UPDATE*** I made a second attempt at a treatment and was refused service upon arrival due to this 2 star review I left on Yelp. I was told to try to get my money back from Groupon, because the studio wasn't going to help. I argued with the receptionist briefly before leaving. The receptionist screamed and swore at me as I left. She then FOLLOWED ME TO MY CAR yelling and screaming that I was a b***h. She was slapping her behind and telling me to kiss her a**. She did this in front of several other customers. I would beware of buying multiple treatment packages from this studio because places like this don't stay in business long. ORIGINAL REVIEW I walked in for my appointment two minutes before my scheduled time and waited in line. When I got to the desk, the receptionist took my payment and told me that I was late because I had to fill out paperwork beforehand and it would take too long. The paperwork was basic contact info and a handful of boxes to check. I finished at the same time that she finished talking to the client behind me in line. Receptionist went to the back and did not return to the front for over 10 minutes. When she returned, she told me she wasn't sure if there was time for my appt, and asked me to sit down and wait while she found out. After an hour, she told me to reschedule. She was very unpleasant about the whole thing. If I could get my money back from Groupon, I would. Unfortunately, the jerk redeemed my coupon, and now I can't get a refund.
This place is wonderful! I bought a Groupon thinking, "oh man, I hope this goes okay." I am not disappointed at all. They receptionist is always so nice when I come in and every time I call she is very helpful. I am having the Brazilian laser hair removal done, and have had 2 treatments done now. I feel confident saying - this works!! The technicians are great and take the time to explain what they are going to do and how it works. The question I keep being asked is, "Does it hurt?" so let's answer that now, it does not "hurt", but is slightly uncomfortable during the very quick process. There is no discomfort for me afterward... and I have a LOW pain tolerance. The ONLY suggestion I would make - to the customer - book all your appointments ahead!! They have over a thousand Groupons sold, so they are booked up for 2 months out. You can book them way ahead of time with the girl up at the front when you leave. DEFINITELY DO THIS!!!
