Where do I even start? Rockwater Resort is more perfect than there are words to describe it. We had our wedding here almost a week ago and it is because of Rockwater that we can look back and reminise over how perfect our wedding was. The staff were phenomenal and I only hope you're lucky enough to have Leona as a server. The food is some of the best I've ever had and the design of the resort itself is stunning, serene, and unlike anything you've seen before. We stayed in a tenthouse suite for 2 nights and it was spotless and very cozy. It rained on our second night and the sound of the rain on the tent was the best sleeping soundtrack I could have asked for. We can't wait to return for our 1-year anniversary! Thank you to all the above-and-beyond staff members and everything else about Rockwater that makes it what it is. This resort has a special place in our hearts and I would strongly recommend it to everybody!

Excellent experience at this romantic resort. I only wished I had booked a tenthouse as the sun shone on them for an hour longer. Our cabin was clean and full of everything we needed including a bucket of ice on our arrival. The little things that the staff did made this a great holiday for me. I highly recommend Rockwater

We went there once for an anniversary dinner and found the food mediocre at best. Thank goodness for the view. We wouldn't have gone back, but they were the only game in town with a New Years Eve event. We purchased a room and dinner package for the evening. When we arrived there was no one to greet us and we had to wait for quite a while. When the woman arrived she was not friendly and didn't say much at all. She walked into the dining area and we weren't sure if we were supposed to follow, but eventually did to which she turned around and told us to wait in not the most polite way. The waitress was lovely, thankfully, and was the same one we had on our anniversary and remembered us. The scallops were particularly sandy and not enjoyable. When we got to our cabin it was freezing! Thankfully my husband looked at where the baseboard heater was located before turning on the heat, as the couch was pressed up against it. The room itself was somewhat dirty with many cobwebs in the corners and inside the lamps. The bathroom was freezing and had no source of heat. It also didn't have a fan, which we thought was rather strange. There were large cracks around the front door, which seemed to be the most obvious source for the loss of heat. The bedding looked inviting, but we didn't feel it was the most hygienic choice. It was layers of sheets over a comforter (that the owner called triple sheeting) and we noticed when we were on top of the bedding at one point that the comforter was exposed and wondered how many other people had sat on the same unwashed blanket.

View- 10, food- 9.8, service- very good and a 9.6. The food was extremely tasty, well prepared and exquisitely presented. Watch the sunset with a lovely dinner and you'll be back again and again. You pay extra for the view but the food and the view are well worth it.

Location is beautiful! Staff were genuine and super accommodating. Food was very good. No need to venture out. Stay and enjoy. Only disappointment... we couldn't stay longer.
