We needed to find a place to go for a quick getaway away from our hectic busy lives. We saw the tuwanek hotel website and just knew this was the place for us to find peace and quiet and away from it all! We arrived and we were not disappointed! It went way above our hopes and expectations! The hosts Chris and Krista were so inviting and the room was absolutely beautiful and clean and views from the balcony spectacular. The breakfast was incredible, very unique, creative and delicious! We were very sad to leave! We will definitely be back again very soon!

My husband (Brian) and I have visited the Tuwanek Hotel and Spa two years in a row during the fall season (first weekend in November) and have thoroughly enjoyed our very relaxing, peaceful stay at the Hotel. The setting is beautiful, the view and rooms exquisite (we stay in the Casablanca room), delicious breakfasts happily served to our room, we enjoyed the movie theatre and of course the steam room and hot tub with the beautiful view of the ocean. The hosts Chris and Krista were welcoming, very helpful, yet not intrusive and were a pleasure to chat with. Thank you to both of them for making us feel like family. If you are looking for a tranquil weekend away and a place that is not far from the mainland Tuwanek Hotel is the place to go. Make sure you also book a spot in the spa, it was an added bonus to my stay.

A great destination to go for relaxation. A group of us rented one of the cottages for the weekend and we all truly enjoyed ourselves. Chris and Krista were accommodating and very welcoming from the time of our arrival through to our departure.Our cottage was very warm and welcoming from the time we entered. We enjoyed our wood burning fireplace and hot tub on the deck every night. The bedrooms were very warm and welcoming not to mention comfortable and the steam shower was a nice added bonus. We are all looking forward to our next extra long weekend to spend here.

Fantastic accommodation! Gorgeous views and just (many) steps down to the beach. As comfortable as home. Beautifully decorated.Heron's Return is so well equipped, you need not bring anything with you..... My 5 girlfriends & I have stayed at the Heron's Return twice and we couldn't be happier with our experience. The location is simply stunning for these properties. We will go back again and again!!! Sechelt and Gibsons have great shopping too!!! I've also personally stayed at the Casablanca Suite in the Tuwanek Hotel B & B for a special birthday present to myself and the stunning suite and huge & delicious breakfast were so much better than I could have imagined. I do not hesitate to recommend these places.
