Scandinave Spa Whistler
Reviews
This is the best spa I've ever visited. In addition to the hot and cold pools, massage options, sauna, and steamroom, there are wonderful warm rooms where you can meditate, read, nap, or just look out over the mountains; hammocks with a view; and outdoor fires to sit by. The place is clean, relaxing, and located within a beautiful setting, and it's a silent spa (no talking), which keeps things very peaceful.
This place is amazing. This was actually my first massage, and they made everything very comfortable. The staff couldn't have been any better.
Nice spot, very beautiful. Only complaint is that it is crowded.(and we went in the off season)
Love it! I'm not usually a 'spa person', but Scandinave is different. The atmosphere of utter peace and relaxation is unmatched. We visit every year for our anniversary trip, sometimes booking a massage, but always spending a whole afternoon in the baths. Even if there's rain, it is like no other experience elsewhere. I wish we lived closer or were able to visit more often.
A perfect way to get away from the normal hectic life that most people lead. The no talking policy is a little challenging sometimes, but certainly adds to the overall experience. Hot. Cold. Relax. Get out of your comfort zone and just go for it! The cold waterfall, showers and/or bath can be very intimidating, but simply said, truly make the experience. After doing a few cycles, find a hammock and you'll enjoy a great snooze. Having been at the spa in the winter and summer, both times are excellent, but the winter adds a "magical" feel to everything. Snow drifting through the trees, steam rising from the baths, people huddled around the fire pits... You get the picture. Highly recommended.
