Everyone is entitled to a bad day.....but I truly think this is just a bad personality. My husband gave me a gift certificate for some services here, like mani/pedi, facial, etc. I tucked it away somewhere for safe-keeping, but a few months later I'm having trouble finding it. Just in case I really can't find it, I contacted the spa to see if they keep records of what has been purchased and redeemed. Samantha told me there was no record of his purchase in that month. I found the bank statement with the interac transaction of the purchase in that month and brought it in to show her, hoping she would be able to find hers and perhaps with ID she would let me redeem my GC. She maintained that she had no record of it at all, and says it's because it has been redeemed by someone else. This is impossible, as it has never left my house. I admit it's dumb that it's lost in here somewhere, but it is what it is. However, I asked her where her copies are, and why is mine missing? She said she didn't appreciate being called a liar, told me I was stupid for losing my GC, and also said she didn't like that I was pretending to be friendly. Why would I be anything other than friendly when I'm trying to get help?? I said I was just trying to see if we could match up our dates and slips and hopefully see that I do have these services to use here, although I was confident that I would find my GC in the house, maybe after renovations were through. She then called ME the liar and told me to leave. She told me to LEAVE in the lobby, during opening hours, with clients inside. She said she conducts business with people who are smart enough to have their proper paperwork, and not with hypothetical paperwork. She raised her voice and told me it was rude of me to even come in there, and then kicked me out. I'm still in total shock. I can't wait to find that GC and rip it up all over her desk.
I love coming here it's my #1 spa, Samantha always has a great welcoming attitude. I've been coming here for almost 2 years, and not one thing has ever made me think twice about it.
We would not typically respond to these reviews, however we feel it's very important that people know that we except ALL coupons EVEN after they expire, any promotions that we run or gift certificates that are purchased do not expire! Someone who received a gift certificate for Christmas called last week to tell us their dog ate it, and we still honored her massage, so I'm not sure who this person below was talking to but it wasn't us :)
owner would not honour coupon, was extremely rude & derogatory towards myself. Seems to be an ongoing issue :(
