my experience in this hotel was terrible, because is hidden in downtown of San Jose CR, and it took me 3 hours to find the hotel, is very hard to find it. finally when we find the hotel it was under construction and has no good presentation to the public. while we were at the front desk we didn't receive a good customer service, because the person that was in duty didn't know what was going on, because the web pages from Expedia and hotel pages said that the first three persons are included in the hotel rate and you pay for the fourth person only $20. Also, while i was doing my check in the person in duty which was the manager at night he charge me an extra money for the third and fourth person while in the website said something different also i called a week before i go there to confirm that i wont get charged for the first 3 persons, only paid for the fourth person but there a miscommunication between the websites and management ( the hotel needs to be in the same page ) when we get to hotel there was something different. Also when we get to room, the bath was to high and slippery I would say like 2 feet tall and there wasn't enough towels .

What an awesome place to stay, it gets a five star, this place is great for anyone, families to single... I really like the food from the Restaurant in Hotel...Everyone is friendly, in the lobby you can set up different types of tours, I will suggest visiting the Irazu Vulcano (Bring Sweaters) I didnt and it gets about 40 degrees but I was ok, also visit The Rain Forest tour...The rooms are really really clean ang huge...Before purchasing your tickets go to the american express travel site to compare prices as well, you dont have to have amex, I saved around $150 instead of going with cheaptickets, expedia or orbitz... If you were in doubt about staying in Hotel Presidente don't be.
