An amazing place to stay for a "get away from it all" luxury break. I'd say this is very much a couples/honeymoon destination, although we did see a few families during our stay and two sisters who love this place so much that they visit every year! My two highlights from our stay were the beach and the food: I've been to some beautiful beaches in the past but the view you get from Tanjung Rhu's private beach is something else - there's even a "path" which appears only when the tide is low and you can follow it to get to a tiny neighbouring island. The food was 5 star, even something basic like a pizza was made that little bit extra special. Another great bonus was that the all-inclusive package includes 24-hour room service at no extra cost meaning you can eat on your own time. My one issue during our stay, and the reason I've rated this a 4 stars instead 5, was that the hotel was undergoing some renovation work so we didn't get to utilise all of the features, but out of what we did experience, it was amazing. I would love to stay here again when the renovation work is complete!
