This elegant small hotel is a great place for relaxation. The hotel offers a big range of facilities, whether you seek just relaxation (i.e. the interesting gardens) or whether you are looking for a more active holiday; i.e the 18-hole golf course. Food and service are excellent, and the Spa complements the overall range of services. I have now spent my third holiday in this romantic hotel and I will come back! Thank you, Casa Velha team!

Had an excellent experience here. Really lovely and friendly people run it. My wife and I travel a lot and know a good spot when we stay in one. We were relaxed the entire time as after the first day we saw that the facilities were good, the service first rate and any recommendations we asked for away from the hotel were spot on. I'm sure there are other perfectly good hotels on the island but I will definitely return here as I have no desire to chance another hotel when this one ticked all the boxes.

One of the most amazing experiences, the views on the Golf Course and from the Gardens are amazing..service is fantastic and freindly ... a must visit from all a unique experience!

Great ambiance, food, service, all round wonderful experience. Palheiro gardens next door are breathtaking. If only my golf was at the same level so I could enjoy the Palheiro golf course as much as I enjoy the hotel.
