Aska Lara Resort & SPA
Reviews
I had been there in the first week of September and I had spent there one of my best holidays. Here I want to say the things that I liked there : I loved the pools from the Wild & Wet Area and the beach was so clean and quiet. The sounds of the breaking waves was uncomparable. The pool bar was nearby the enterance on the beach. The drinks were high quality. I think that those "Gozleme" were one if the teastiest thinghs I have ever eaten. I loved them. They could be found near the bar. You could also make a professional photoshoot on the beach or zumba or you could play pool games. The zumba trainer was friendly and energic. Talking about the hotel the services were more than 5*.The room was cleaned everyday, the bar refilled. The rooms were so classy and clean. The gym had high quality stuff. You could also make some shopping there. There were a few shops inside of the hotel. At the restaurant the food has got from me a " no comment". Infinite stars for quality fot the food. I loved the variety and the tastes. The chefs are the best. The Brasserie was great too. The thought today of those cakes makes my mouth water The night shows were interesting and fun. The Turkish night was my favourite. --A.M.A.Z.I.N.G.-- But unfortunatelly I have to say some things I disliked: First thing I literally hated was that a waiter was more than flirting with my sister. He touched her legs and smiled to her in a flirty way while acting like he was cleaning the table. And in a second time he came so close to her when she was sitting at the table, I can not explain how, but that scared her.She is just a teenager and she refused to go to dinner once becouse she didn't like the presence of that waiter. We tried to ignore that ,although I got angry ,and enojoy our time there. The waiter's age was around 30~35. He was way more too friendly. And talking about waiters and barmans and beeing "friendly", they all were so unfriendly. For example I told the pool barman to give me a cocktail. He was not paying as much attention to me as he paid to the other barman from his side. They were laughing one to each other and he didn't even look at me once. He put the drink on the counter and having fun with the other barman. I can't say that that was the single time that happend to me. I barely met a barman who had gave me a smile. They were so cold and I did'nt like that fact. And talking the same thing about the waiters from the inside 25% were similing to you and salute you or something. I felt unwelcomed. I also disliked the lack of organisation in the Wild&Wet Area team. There were so many things to do in that programme and you were confused becouse sometimes you didn't know what is next or who is the entertainer or trainer. You didn't know where, at what hour you should be. I don't think you understood this part but I am talking about the lack of organisation in the entertainment team. Another thing that I didn't like, was an unexpected scene. I was walking from the beach to the hotel for the dinner and someone with white shirt asked me if I stay at Aska. And I said yes. Then he told me harshly to say my room number. I asked him why and he told me he is from the hotel and he must know. I was a little unsure but I told him at the end. I didn't like that I was put in that situation. I was taking part of some kind of questionary. That event ruined my evening. I hadn't had a Google account till now and I wanted to say those things to inform you and your potential/next clients. Despite the negative things, a week or two there worth and I recommend you to spend your holiday there if you have children or if you go with a group of friends/families with children. The place is one of the best.
We stayed in april 2014 and end november of that year. The rooms ar large and with all comfort. Also the park near the beach is very nice. The kitchen is from high class. For families with kids and also for older couples it is a most go. The only minus was tah my windows phoe had trouble with the wifi, and the hotel is 45 minuts away from the center of the old city in Antalya
Trying a new and bold concept with two territories lying first and the second line of Lara beach, Aska Lara is a unique and extraordinary resort alternative in Antalya. Most powerful points are outdoor activities, kids and teenager activities, gourmet and room comfort.. Don't forget that hotel offers free of charge WiFi even at the beach.
The Aska Lara is a lovely modern hotel with staff who are friendly and attentive. The Bedrooms are spacious and the bathroom had a powerful shower. Pool areas were al clean, tidy and well maintained. Bar staff were very attentive friendly and drinks were good quality. We would recommend this hotel for all couples or families who want good value for quality. Would definitely go back.
absolutely stunning. Everything is so good. 3 critical points: - because of the low amount and size of elevators. Sometimes we had to wait a long time - The swimming pool water was very very cold - Our bedroom was near the entrance of the hotel; in the evening a lot of music is played. Therefore 'noice' was heard in te evening hours
