Went for a meal and drinks: slow service (had to twice ask for waiter to come to the table). Below average food. Sold out of every type of juice (really, you can't stock up on some juice?). Courtyard area below average cleanliness. Wasn't terrible, but was way below the standard expected of a Hilton.
The hotel is everything you would expect from a business hotel - well maintained rooms and a big range of facilities. Despite its less than central location, it is a great base to explore Sanliurfa and other historical tourist attractions such as Balıklı Göl, Urfa Castle. I love Turkish breakfast buffets, the freshly made waffles with fruit, nuts, kaymak (Turkish clotted cream) and honey fulfilled my expectations.
To Mr. Onur Dogan, Assistant Manager, My son, Christian, and I wanted to thank you for your gracious care of us at the Hilton Garden Inn in Sanliurfa. Our room was delightful, the staff kind and helpful and we are still salivating over that wonderful pistachio baklava dessert that became a daily must. Sincerely, dorothy Anderson
Clean and spacious rooms. Very comfortable beds and pillows. Delicious and rich breakfast.
