Not for white people. They fucked up my hair. A simple Mohawk is all i wanted. I got a bomb that went off.

I went to this place for the first time today on a coworker's reccomendation. I went for a basic brow and lip wax. The visit seemed standard enough at first, I told the woman that I wanted my brows just cleaned up a bit, not to change the shape or anything like that. She finishes my brows, and they are completely uneven, the natural shape has been stripped away and been made completely flat on the bottom. One side is incredibly short, and the thickness is completely uneven between the two. I asked her to even it out a bit, and just move on with the lip. Instead of doing one side, then the other, as is standard practice most places, so slathered a huge strip of wax along the entire lip, catching a little bit of the sensitive lip skin in the process. After the whole thing was done, they didn't even have a proper register. I had to swipe my card through one of their phones - incredibly shady for an established business! And when I got the receipt, I'd found they'd overcharged me by $2. Not going back. Will never go back. Stay away!

The salon is supposed to open at 9am, but they didn't answer the phone until around 9:30. I asked how much a shampoo, cut and style was. They told me $25 and squeezed me in. I was happy that they were able to see me so quickly, but that was about the only good thing about my experience. When I got there, the door was locked and they didn't let me in immediately. I had to wait outside! When I finally got inside, the stylist didn't really take the time to understand what I wanted, she just started cutting. When I was finished, it turned out that a shampoo, cut and style was $35, instead of the $25 I was told on the phone. I could look past all of this if I had received a decent haircut, but now I am forced to go and spend even more money on another haircut to fix what they screwed up. It's not even remotely good. Don't waste your money.

I had only been in Huntsville, AL, for less than a week when I happily came upon this hip and trendy nail salon due to its convenient location and clean/sterile appearance. I was impressed with the ambience the minute I walked in - excellent music, multiple LCD TVs, an array of the latest nail colors, a Zen-like massage room...and they do lash extensions and the best eyebrow shaping I've seen in the south! I kept coming back all summer to spoil myself there because they made me look and feel BEAUTIFUL!!!

I wanted to treat a friend to pedi's, and instead of walking out happy, she had been insulted. The man doing her toes looked at her and asked what was wrong with her eye/face? Did she get hit? Because her eyes looked all puffy..... Maybe she just stays out too late? Are you kidding me?!?! Now she is self conscious about the way that she looks (which is great, by the way). He also tried to charge for a service that he was told 3 times that she didn't want. Her toes looked good, but I would never return to a place that treated people like that.
