Blue Lady Resort

You be the Judge? $120/nite= 1br, without windows, good sleeping bed. No screen on door, management said they would re-install it but never did. No soap in the bathroom. Every step at the resort (and there were lots) was of a different depth, width, and there were no hand rails to be found. The pool looked more like a trout farm, with the trout farm being clearer? The Dock was a mere 75 uneven steps down from the pool. This may not be the safest place for anyone with a walking problem. Definitely not a place for the 65+ crowd. Our friends stayed upstairs and their unit bath was so full of Mold that baths were at your own risk. The carpet was so dirty that you did not look down. The back of the front door was so caked in dust that turnips would grow if planted. Nice flatscreen TV's however. The kitchen in our friends unit was so dark, that they moved a pole lamp next the sink, took the shade off so that they could see what they were washing. The view of Lake Norfolk was nice. The Deer sightings were neat. The fishing was OK. There was only one boat to rent and it was already booked. One could take there vehicle down to the dock but the ride down was full of pot holes with limited space to turn in. (This in lou of taking the perilious 75 step hike down, and heaven forbid back up. Thank God it was 2 days of cool weather in August. You decide what you want and what you need. What can $120/day get you, Hopefully at least some bath soap.
Great views from clean and comfy cabins. Staff is friendly. Only resort in area with a Winery
