Kachina Hot Springs is a well kept secret partly because they don't have a functional website. They are well aware of this challenge and hope to have a new website soon. It is a two hour drive from Tucson and feels like you are in "BFE" but the mineral water is worth the drive for silky skin. I had a one hour massage from a delightful therapist named Jennifer whose perfect pressure made me relax instantly. Since there is no website, this is what you need to know. Book an appointment because they are currently closed Tue/Wed and open short hours on Sun. You can enjoy just a 30 minute mineral bath in a private tiled bath for $10.00. Or you can book a massage or other treatment that includes the private mineral hot springs bath. Call for details and prices which are very reasonable compared to "resorts". The facility is clean although pretty basic as far as amenities. You don't need a swimsuit because you will enjoy the mineral water in a private bath that includes a towel and cool drinking water. It is not a "posh" hot springs resort, but the "simple decor" should not put you off because the hot springs and treatments are heavenly. It is a great place to relax and unwind, far away from the hustle and bustle of life.

Kachina Mineral Springs Spa is a diamond in the rough! My partner and I flew into Phoenix and drove into Safford for a 2 day visit with my brother who is in the Federal Prison at Safford, AZ. While standing in line at the prison a young lady told us of a great little spa just down the road on Cactus Rd. As massage therapists ourselves we will take every opportunity to get a good massage so we were each able to book a hour massage, reflexology and a hot mineral tub bath on a Sunday afternoon for $70 each!!! What a bargin! Our therapist, Leanne and Stella were both knowledgeable and professional, absolutely great pressure during the massage, the bath was perfect and the atmosphere was relaxing and peaceful. You are surrounded by the beautiful mountains in Safford which is an extra bonus too. We highly recommend Kachina Mineral Springs to anyone. Leanne and Stella..... if you are ever in Arkansas.... come see us, you a a credit to our profession!!!! Thank you!
