This is a very difficult review to write because the Massage Therapist was amazing. It is the staff, particularly Princess Popular (5'7" dark hair and incredibly deep husky voice), who make this location the Seventh Ring of Hell. Princess Popular fell all over herself to ring me out when my massage was completed. And then... she literally abandoned the transaction, leaving my transaction open and incomplete. I literally stood there being ignored for 5 minutes while Princess Popular ooh'd and awe'd over the boyfriend that came to visit. The other girl, clearly the less popular blonde, had to back everything out so she could complete the transaction. It was ridiculous. I would have walked out but I worried that the amazing therapist David would be held responsible because it's pretty clear that Princess Popular runs the show over there. I am in disbelief that the owners of this franchise allow such incredibly disrespectful staff at their location. I filled out the Mssage Envy survey but have had no reply or response. It's fairly evident that Princess Popular controls the social media over there as well - good luck with improving sales as long as that ding bat is employed by Massage Envy. This location is NOT recommended.

Loved this massage clinic! Jacob is extremely professional and pays very close attention to small issues in a client's back and shoulders (these are problem areas for me!) I have been to many massage therapists in the Santa Barbara and San Luis Obispo area, and this is one of the easiest places to get into as a walk-in client. My only criticism is the parking lot - it tends to be a zoo, so leave anough time to park before your appointment!

Do not sign up for any membership contract as they will hound, you unless you present a Doctor's certificate to say you cannot have any massages or you show utility bills to prove you have moved way from a Massage Envy territory, if you want to terminate the contract!!! I had a contract for 12 months and in that time went about 75 times. The massages were OK but Massage Envy screwed up my appointments 3 times without any apology. I enrolled a friend for 12 months but she decided that, after 3 massages, Massage Envy was not for her. Massage Envy would not cancel or transfer the contract to me and continued to take $59 PM from my credit card. They will not listen to reason and refuse to let me speak with the franchise owners but instead have referred me to a collection agency. DO NOT SIGN UP FOR ANY CONTRACT!!!!!

While I have had a membership for several years, it seems the massages get shorter and shorter. 60 minutes is now "maybe" 45. Also, I requested a heat massage with hot towels & bio-freeze -- the towels were lukewarm at best (she even wanted to take them out and out in the mircrowave!) and she never even massaged in the bio freeze -- very poor.
