Avoid at all costs for weddings! Horrible customer service which is the exact opposite of what you need when planning a wedding. Our assigned "wedding planner" was very unorganized the week of our wedding and also forgot to tell my husband when to walk out during our ceremony. They overcharged for simple items ($260 for a microphone). With the variety of wedding venues in San Diego, you're better off spending your money elsewhere!

This place has nice rooms and nice grounds. The staff were professional. I would have rated it 4 stars, but it was overpriced for what you get. The bar prices were especially ridiculous.

I have become a repeat customer of this beautiful and relaxing resort. Lush outdoor garden spaces for contemplation, balconies are an excellent place to get work done while enjoying the SD climate. Avant is an amazing restaurant. Service has been nothing but excellent. I don't golf, but the golfers seem to heartily approve. RBI is a great value for all you get. Compared to sterile boilerplate business chain hotels, I'll pay a bit more to stay here any time I can.

Attended the NextGen 2013 conference held at Rancho Bernardo Inn north of San Diego. A stunning resort that will definitely be on the list for our customers at Robbins Brothers, The Engagement Ring Store who are seeking a wedding reception site.
