Queen B Salon
Reviews
I went to Queen B because my sister got a hair cut there. We both have thick curly hair and my sister said they did a great job. Well unfortunately my experience was not the same. I was at the salon for a total of 25 minutes - wash and cut and then she sent me on my way with a wet head in the middle of winter. She didn't even ask me how much to take of or what i wanted or if i wanted her to style it...i was shocked and pissed. In the end the hair cut sucked and the experience is something i would have expected from some low-end chain salon. $75.00 later. OUCH

Quite possibly the worst expereience of my hairs life... twice! The first time, I waited over 30 minutes for my appointment. The owner didn't even realize i was there and somehow thought I was just hanging around the dungeoness environment for R&R. Now, when she was ready, the cut was great with a nice style- but I had to ask for a rinse and left with a frizzy looking laughable do, walking out into downtown Aspen. So, I tried again because the cut was nice!- Round 2: they get my name wrong, and the boss immediately says she's going to be 20 minutes late. SHAME ON ME!- I should have walked out! But what do I get for pennance? The very nice assistant gets to experiment cutting men's hair for the first time on me.... need I say more? Luckily the 45.00 mens haircut was refunded, but I now have to live with the embarrassment until my hair grows back. I will again try to find a REAL salon in Aspen. DO NOT GO HERE
