LOVED IT!!! My first time into Aura Salon was shocking. Amber was hearty, friendly, gracious, kind, competent and careful. My hair is very curly, and most stylists have a hard time with it. I am also very sensitive to different stylists techniques, but I was able to relax because Amber was so confident and competent. I never once questioned or felt akward about she was doing or how she was doing it. Obviously she knows exactly what she is doing, and is not intimidated by wavy/curly hair. Many times before I have left a salon feeling that the cut I have received is a little too short- and I have often heard the phrase "It will grow back." But the cut I received today was NOT TOO SHORT, but the JUST RIGHT length- I could not be more pleased!!!! You are getting 5 stars

I love the Aura Salon and owner Amber Marquez! I met Amber last year when she managed the Grand Boulevard Headstart. When she left, I followed. No one touches my hair but her! I'm extremely picky and once I find a quality stylist, I stick with her. She's cut my hair, colored my hair, and saved me from a bad perm. I trust her with my tresses and will follow her wherever she goes! Oh, and her prices are extremely reasonable! Don't miss out on this quality stylist, her wealth of knowledge, and her awesome skills!

I didn't even get to try the salon's services. A few weeks ago, I called 3 or 4 days in a row, twice each day - during business hours, and right at closing, and nobody ever answered the phone. I left two messages with details, never got a call back. Very disappointed, you probably have enough business and you don't need any more.

My daughter had some color/conditioning work done, by Rachel and it is fabulous! She and the owner Amber make a great team, and I like that they are both family-oriented young women, it keeps the atmosphere nice and pleasant.

This salon is the perfect combination of skill, cleanliness, friendliness, and pampering. The Tressa products are wonderful, and the owner, Amber, always remains cool under pressure, never making you feel that you're "in the way". She is consistent, and has a flare for what she does. Her cuts and colors are amazing, and I tried her spray tan which is the best ever. She takes every precaution to make it natural, and only uses safe organic products. She is above and beyond but keeps her pricing at an amazing level, considering what she delivers. Good location, calming, friendly, and GREAT cuts, colors, tans, and more.
