Little Palm Island Resort & Spa
Reviews
It is right next to a boy scout island that is full of birds and swamp. The smell on the boy scout island is nauseating.
My husband and I celebrated our wedding anniversary in Key West this past weekend. One of my husband's colleagues had spent his honeymoon at the resort, and strongly recommended it to us. Upon perusing the inviting web site, we made dinner reservations. We weren't able to take advantage of the online reservation system since there was a glitch in the connection for several hours, but the woman who took our reservation over the phone was very pleasant and professional. Thankfully, the welcome center was easy to find, and we were well attended to from the first moment by the staff. The boat captain was friendly, and the ride to the resort was pleasant. The hostess walked out to greet us at the boat, and knew us by name upon arrival. Our menus were personalized with our names and a happy anniversary greeting. The food and wine selection was great, and the service was even better. We enjoyed watching a gorgeous sunset in a quiet, relaxing setting as the Key deer walked near diners on the beach. The meal was delicious. After dessert, we were invited to explore the area. Our server attended to us at the cozy outdoor fire pit and as we listened to the live jazz band and made requests. I will say that this was the most expensive dinner I have ever had, and the portions were a bit small for the high price, but we were definitely satisfied. The beautiful gourmet presentation and overall experience made up for the expense. I would definitely recommend reserving a meal at this resort to anyone vacationing in the Keys. I can only imagine staying at the resort would be an even better experience!
Private, secluded, romantic. Service fantastic. Food excellent (take a chef's tour of the kitchen). Great wine list. Spa treatment top notch. Great romantic turn down service. Just like the best of Tahiti, but without having to travel around the world. tb review is puzzling--there had to be some one-off event. Only one warning: this place is not cheap. But you do get what you pay for.
