The Wauwinet is a wonderful Oceanside Inn with a great beach, a gorgeous setting, superb personal service and excellent dining at its 5-star restaurant. I definitely recommend it for your vacation on Nantucket Island.
A thousand words is not enough!
While the Wauwinet is gorgeous, make sure you allot half a day for dining. After a long day at the beach, we wanted a great meal, which it was, however, it literally took us 4 hours from sit down to payment. We had to lie to the waiter and tell him that we had plans in town because we ran out of things to say! haha.. I will probably never return to this establishment, between the stuffy atmosphere and the long wait for the food, (TINY portions) and outrageous prices, it's not all its cracked up to be..sorry folks, just my opinion!
