Massage Envy

I've had many amazing massages at Massage Envy, Bel Air. I saw Jenn yesterday (for the second time) and felt so taken care of- I wish I would've gone for a 90 minute session instead of an hour! I highly recommend her! Other therapists I have had are Anthony, Marquita, Lisa, Janine and Christina- I have so much pride for all of the therapists here because they do a great job of customizing your session and taking good care of you. They are all certified, experienced, professional and kind. TIPS: Make sure you communicate with your Massage Therapist during your session because only you know what your body can take and what techniques and pressure help you relax. Also be sure to communicate with the Front Desk as to what you are looking for so they can help you find a therapist that has the touch/technique that suites you. ( It is best to book your appointments in advance on the weekends, same day/walk-in appointments are easier during the week). Hope this was helpful!

Massage Envy is essentially a mill where they use incredibly high pressure techniques to con you into signing up for "monthly maintenance" supposedly for you health. What they fail to tell you is that if you do not use the time that you purchased, you lose it forever. No refunds. No extensions. And if you can't get an appointment before the purchased ones expire, well, that's just your tough luck. In my case, I had to care for a spouse that suddenly became gravely ill. When the time came for me to finally relax, well, guess what- tough luck. . .too late. Massage Envy is like a modern day version of the old high pressure time share sales or high pressure auto sales add-ons. Avoid this place at all cost. It isn't professional, and it is not about massage, relaxation, or health, its about selling items they don't deliver on. Thereare far better options than these mills.

I have signed up for the monthly massage and eagerly look forward to it every month. I have experienced neck and shoulder tightness and pain and sciatic nerve pain. The monthly massage has loosened my muscles and helped relieve the pain. I highly recommend this method of treatment.

Top notch therapists!

AVOID THE YOUNG GIRL NAMED MADDY OR MADDIE, cant remember the spelling. The massages were great don't get me wrong, but this one young girl was AWFUL. Brought my girlfriend there and we ended up talking to a very young girl named Maddie, who was rude and short with us both. She could not answer our questions and did not look up at us when she did give quick responses like she really didn't want to be bothered. One of the other people working there, I wont say who, was nice enough to apologize and told us the girl's co-workers liked her somewhat but that she was not as mature as someone should be at her age. To my surprise someone else who said they came there regularly also told us this young girl did not act professionally and wished she was gone but what can you do. Everything else was fine but this one person ruined it for my girlfriend. I would recommend this place BUT make sure you avoid the employee named Maddie, immature beyond belief!
