BEWARE*** Many, many phone calls and messages were left to set an appointment in order to redeem the vouchers sold by Living Social. After several weeks of unsuccessful attempts, their phone number is no longer in service. I suppose they skipped town. Beware. We'll see if Living Social refunds the $126.00 I paid. If not, you'll see my review about them too.

My sister and I went in on a few Groupons to celebrate my mom's birthday and mother's day together. My sister and I got the massage and facial package and we got my mom the manicure/pedicure/facial package (she doesn't care for massages). We were really excited because the spa salon is in a nice area and appeared to have good reviews. We surprised my mom the day of. Unfortunately, the visit did not go as planned. My experience was mediocre at best, but my mom's was horrible! The lady who did her nails was so mean and even made her cry! She apparently asked what color polish my mom wanted, but didn't show her any at first. Then she pulled some out of a purse next to her station. My mom picked a color and the lady said "Isn't that color a little young for you?" My mom didn't know what to say. The lady was just in a bad mood the whole time and after doing her finger nails, said she didn't even want to finish her pedicure. Luckily another staff member overhead and apologized for the mean lady and finished her toes. Meanwhile my sister and I were off getting a facial or massage, which were alright. The facial was probably the most acceptable part of the visit. The massage was done by an older Russian man, who talked the entire time and gave us a shorter massage than promised by the Groupon. I suppose this place may have been great back in it's day, but it sure isn't what it used to be.

Terrible! I bought a massage/facial Groupon, without I'll admit doing proper research. I figured since it was in Clayton it would be a nice place. Couldn't have been more wrong! I didn't have the same appointment making problems as some of the other reviewers. However all their other comments are spot on! Receptionist/owner was the rudest, most unorganized person I've ever met. She had four old school appointment books out and never found my appointment. They were unsure what I'd get first, massage or facial. After I "checked in" she paged the masseuse, I stood in the waiting area. A few minutes pass, she pages him again; a few more minutes pass and she pages him again. I'm wondering if he's even in the building. After 15 min of waiting I ask how much longer. At this point she says he's in with another client, who was late so they are running behind. So 1) why didn't you tell me he was running behind when I first got here?? Set some expectation management and 2) if you knew he was with a customer why on earth did you page him THREE TIMES?! He's finished and comes out to greet me and say he'll be ready once he's gotten the room ready. I go across the hall to wait and the previous client comes out. I ask if she heard the pages, she says oh yes multiple times. I apologized but said they didn't tell me he was with another client or say he was running behind. Massage was MEH, he was really nice but too soft pressure wise and since he was at least 70 yrs old I felt bad to ask for more pressure. Room was atrocious! Just regular flat bed sheet on the table, no extra blanket or anything to keep me warm considering I'm buck naked! He had music playing on a tape that ran out at least three times during the massage so he stopped what he was doing to flip the tape over and hit play. Seriously, in this day and age you can't upgrade to a CD/CD player with music that lasts for more than an hour? I did tip him, way less than usual though. Onto the facial. I go back to reception desk for the lady to tell me to "go over there" and put on a smock and wait for my facial. The facial lady walks by and says she needs to set up the room. So when you know a previous service will take an hour, you still aren't' ready when I finish?! So I go into a closet (literally) where I choose from a variety of hairdressing capes/smocks. Most are missing buttons or something. I put it on and go back out to wait. She's finally ready and shows me into a slightly larger closet. I go to get into the chair and it's not bolted down so it slides over a few inches. The arms are practically falling off and it's covered with a similar flat bedsheet. She does as me a few questions before we start; am I allergic to anything? What's my skin like normally? How many facials have I had etc. She starts the facial and the ONLY thing she explains is the steam machine. Doesn't say what other products she's using or what they are supposed to do for my skin. Maybe she figured since I said I've had many facials I knew what was going on. No massage during steam or mask (10 min each) She left the room for the steam and said to yell if I needed anything. For the mask I think she just stood there. Multiple products got in my nose and on my lips. She took no care around the eye area, pulling and stretching the most sensitive skin on my body. The wash cloth used felt like a Brillo pad, assuming it was on sale at Value Village?! I was picking off pieces of the mask from non-face areas hours after the massage. Worst facial EVER!! I actually washed my face a few hours later. As I'm leaving the rude receptionist has the audacity to remind me that gratuity is not included in the Groupon. I gave her a look I reserve for only the stupidest of people, say I know, and walk out. I wish zero stars were an option...find a better place.

I went here in December because I had a Living Social deal. It was awful. It was initially difficult to set my appointment and the woman on the phone was unhelpful. When I arrived, they were in the middle of having a party in the salon, so it smelled like meatballs and there was food everywhere. The decor is dated and dingy. When I arrived, it took several minutes of me standing at the desk for the receptionist to notice I was there. The massage I received alternated between painful pressure or not being able to tell she was touching me at all. The masseuse also got WAY too close to my crotch, had very long nails, and was wearing rings the entire time. The massage table was broken and covered with an extremely thin, cheap child's bed sheet. The room didn't seem clean. The facialist's chair was also broken and the sheet draped over it had holes in it. The room was literally a closet in the back. The facial consisted of nothing more than having a few different creams rubbed on my face. I've had better services at a place like massage envy. Don't go here.

Simply put......this place is garbage! A friend of mine and myself got a Groupon to spoil both of our wives. Like others we saw Clayton and figured it had to be pretty nice. Ahhhh....Not so much. It was such a train wreck that my wife started making notes on her phone so that we could laugh at it later. Let's start with my experience first then go into hers. 1) I called to book the appointment and had to leave a message during business hours. I thought this was a little strange but figured they might be busy due to the Groupon. 2) I never got a call back. It took 2 more calls to just get someone on the phone. At least twice I was told I would be called back an nothing. 3) After the fifth day of trying to get someone on the phone. I decided enough was enough. I was looking up how to contact Groupon. Literally when I found what to do to get a refund, they called me. I was finally able to book the appointment. Now here was my wife's experience. 1) Nice on the outside. 2) Nasty, old, and out of date on the inside. 3) A male masseuse was the only option. This made her pretty uncomfortable. 4) Instead of having a nice peaceful and "Quiet" massage, the dude just kept talking and talking. He told her how he didn't like his job. How he was a hypnotist on the side and all sorts of inappropriate talk. He also had a very very think Russian accent. This is fine, but if you know this about yourself, don't talk so much. 5) The room was very bright and very difficult to get comfortable in. The massage table was more like a twin mattress with beach towels on it. 6) There was no where to put her purse or belongings so she was worried the masseuse was looking through her belongings. 7) The masseuse started the massage and within 5 minutes, he just stopped and left the room. She had no idea what was going on. 8) My wife isn't a huge Germaphobe but thought it was kind of strange that he started with her feet then did her body. I think I would have to agree. 9) The room played some really super super strange music as well. Again contributing to the non-relaxed environment. My wife has had many massages. Many good, many OK, but I have never her her say "This was the worst massage I have ever had". Please...take both my and her advise. Don't visit this establishment. It is really poorly run.
