Lake Opechee Inn and Spa
Reviews
I.N.C.R.E.D.I.B.L.E! I loved everything from the the pleasant and polite staff to the spa to the restaurant to the room. Everything was amazing!! I will definitely be coming back on another trip, maybe for a longer weekend. I highly recommend their packages that includes spa and restaurant. Was well worth the money! Thank you Lake Opechee!
What a wonderful place to be! I came here on business, got a great rate, very spacious room. Great continental breakfast for free. Fantastically delicious dinner! I had the scallops, but everything's good! Warm and friendly staff, waitress, bartender. Seriously considering coming back on a pleasure trip sometime soon! I locked my phone charger in a co-worker's car, and the middle-of-the-night super-early-morning front desk person went upstairs and got her PERSONAL apple charger and let me borrow it, which made MORE than my week, since my significant other was in port briefly on a deployment and I needed to have a charged phone!! Felt like family. And the sheets! Amazing... speaking of which, I'm going to order a set right now...
We had dinner here 7/31/12, and this place is so pretty, the staff was welcoming, the food was exceptional. We toured a few oceanfront rooms and they were great, I would recommend staying here...
I had my wedding here 5/7/2011. Kathy was great. She worked a lot with us and did what she could to accomidate. When the bar did not have the beers we requested they went out and got some! I am very glad I had my wedding here and I recomend to anyone who is looking for a place to have their wedding look here!
Date: 05/08/2009 – 05/10/2009 Reason: Wedding The Lake Opechee Inn and Spa is one of the nicest places I’ve stayed in a while. If you have discriminating taste like I do, I am sure you will love staying here. The staff was very helpful and accommodating. My tripod was loose and they took the time to track down an allen wrench for me to be able to fix it. Everything is spotless. It actually has a very pleasing smell. My wife even said so, even though we couldn’t figure out what is. The rooms are huge and the beds are very comfortable (I was able to see three other rooms that our friends were staying in). We stayed in the Bryar room #117. There were five or six channels of HBO; however we didn’t end up watching much TV. The grounds are gorgeous and the lake has some beautiful sunsets that are seen right from the front of the inn. I wish I had brought our kayaks. There is a boat launch just as you drive in, but it is not on the grounds. O, the restaurant attached to the inn, has some great food and a great atmosphere. Try the Mac and Cheese with Lobster or the steak, both are great. It is a little pricy for the area but well worth it. There are some other restaurants that are affiliated with the inn that are really good; Fratello's being one of them. I only have one qualm, however it is very small and I only mention it so that people are aware. The included country breakfast in the morning is very light and does not vary, but it does serve the purpose. If you are looking for a hot breakfast, try the Soda Shoppe (about 10 minutes away). It’s not fancy but the food is good the prices are very low, and the service is fast and friendly. We will defiantly be staying here again.
