Wanted to give my hardworking wife a day off with the full treatment. Hair, nails, facial, massage, pedicure, the whole nine. I had saved up for a month to afford this and the prices seemed reasonable. So my wife shows up for the appt. They said they couldn't do everything that was scheduled because her appt was double booked. They said they would do one thing and could do the next treatment a couple hours later and told my wife to just go have lunch or something. They didn't even do the hair conditioning treatment due to the double booking so they begrudgingly agreed to at least cut her hair. So my wife was ready to go back and get the rest of the treatments the next weekend until they called her back the day before and told her they had to cancel the entire appt because the owner's sister was coming into town for a visit. What?! Are you kidding me? They said another person could do the service on another day, but by this time, my wife and I had had it with this so-called day spa. I demanded my money back for the unused services. I heard the owner had a family emergency toward the end of this fiasco that added to the scheduling problems and I was very sorry to hear it. However, Needless to say we will NEVER be doing business with Hilltop Escape Salon again. Nor will I recommend them to anyone else. I wanted to treat my wife to a single day of care-free pampering. Instead she got two stress-filled weeks of feeling like the least important person there. Other than the masseuse who helped me reconcile the refund, no one was even very apologetic. This establishment could very well benefit from business administration and customer service training. I am surprised they are still in operation. This review was approved by my wife. Too bad there's no such thing as negative stars. EDIT: I suppose I should be fair and say this event happened after Mother's Day 2013. It's only now while thinking about this coming Mother's Day that I realized I never completed the review.

Here is my experience in a nutshell: I went here for my very first massage very excited about it. I had my son 3 months prior to going and was looking forward to a little me time. I came into the spa and was not greeted or waited on for 15 minutes which made me late for my appointment. The girls at the desk were sitting there chatting about going to Applebee's on Saturday night and about the oh so sexy guy they met. Thanks guys I was really appreciative of your informative sex life. When they finally greeted me they had the nerve to mention to me that my appointment was at 1:00 yeah I get that Ive been standing there for 15 minutes listening to your disgusting story. Second the massuse was rude and very impatient. I have literally had a better massage from my husband at home. Later that night after I got home I was extremely sore and was having a hard time moving around without pain. I called the doctors office they said it is normal some of the times for this to happen when you get a massage. What I didn't know was the next morning I would be in the emergency room. I woke up the next morning in so much pain I had to be rushed to the emergency room. After evaluation the doctor informed me that my sciatic nerve had been damaged and I had a compressed disk in my spine. Now thanks to them I am on pain medication for injury to my back and sciatic nerve. This place is very luck I am not a greedy person and did not sue them for malpractice. I would of given them 1/2 a star if it would of let me. Never again will I ever have another massage because they totally ruined it for me. But hey if you cant stand someone and want to ruin their lives send them here for a massage they will most certainly help you with it.
