The staff is super friendly and attentive. The cottages are well appointed with huge showers and a tub deep enough to dive into (please don't try!). The beds are large and crazy comfortable, I passed out in seconds. Very peaceful at night with very little light to blot out the stars... very romantic. You won't be disappointed!

The service at Encantado is unbelievably wonderful. Staff waits on your every need and they are extremely friendly while doing it. Food and bar service is good and resort is beautiful. Rooms are very nice. Fireplaces a great touch. I stayed on a lower floor without a room above, so I can't comment on noise but our casita was great. Strongly recommend for anyone going to Santa Fe that doesn't mind being 15 minutes out of town. We enjoyed being a little out of town. Encantado is strongly recommended!!

Teething pains of any new resort - The staff is excellent - can't do enough to help. The rooms are beautiful with some quirks - a number will be worked out as the resort is new - others the resort will simply have to live with. Plus: Staff, Food, Views from many rooms, stocked mini bar included in "resort" fee. Wonderful bathroom with beautiful tubs. Heated floors in bathrooms. Beautiful spa, exercise room, yoga room. Minus: Views (in almost all rooms you'll look at a parking lot (Black Top) and if you're room is on the 2nd floor you're view will likely include roof tops of the gallery, spa and main building. Pool - no cabanas, (food service wasn't open yet) Poor or no lighting in important areas like stairs and paths at night, resort fee of $20 per day (and it may be per person). Very low water pressure in shower. Not enough hot water to fill the tub. In addition to the resort fee there is a charge for the bell person to take your bags to and from your room - at rack rates north of $500 - really. New staff in spa - through the roof pricing - imo.
