I had a haircut by Lisa a graduate student and she did a fantastic job. It's a really nice pocket friendly saloon. I love their services. I would definitely recommend going there.
I had a fantastic experience at this spa. I was looking for a place to take my friend to for her birthday and this came up in the search. The prices are an outrageous bargain! If you want a spa experience but you can't pay regular spa prices, or you just want more treatment for your dollar, this is the place to go! You do have to remember that this is a school, so the decor is not as luxurious as a regular spa. The room we were in was also on the chilly side. But the actual treatment went fantastic (we both had body wraps and facials) especially the wrap. Everyone I interacted with was friendly, professional, and enthusiastic about their job. And these are students, I think the only money they make is from tips. Even giving a very generous tip, this place is well worth every penny.
It's a school so remember you get what you pay for. It is much more economical for me to get my color done here than pay three times as much in a regular salon. It comes out just as good and lasts just as long. It does take a little longer but again they are learning and to get things right they have instructors to ask questions of.
Went to get my hair and nails done for an event. Brought a picture of exactly what I wanted, I walked out of there with stiff hair and sucky curls when I specifically asked for waves. Also, manicure? Ridiculous, their french tipped manicures were bad and rushed and so incredibly messy. I just gave up telling the person what I wanted done, it was hopeless. When I got home later that afternoon, I redid my own hair and removed my "french" tip nails! Plus they expected a good tip at the end, $30 wasted!
