My wife and I have been to most of the foot rub stores in the Bellmore, Wantagh, Merrick and Massapequa vicinity. We have found Tranquility to consistently be the best. The place is always clean, quiet, very inexpensive and it's a great place to relax and unwind. The staff is always friendly and anyone I have had at Tranquility did a great job rubbing my feet, Jenny in particular gives an incredible foot rub, it's so relaxing that I fall asleep before she is done with my first foot. My wife loves Ruan, I think that's how you spell his name, she loves the way he rubs her feet. The staff applies the pressure to order. The store is dimmly lit, has peaceful music playing and they have a Feng Shui waterfall which adds to the peaceful setting. The store has very comfortable lazy boy chairs which recline when you are done soaking your feet and getting your shoulders rubbed. You can't beat an hour of pure relaxation for $28.00, many times we have stayed for 2 hours. The store hours are great as well, they are open 7 days a week from 10 am to 10 pm so we always can find some time to go and relax. The last thing we want to mention is the way Terri, the store owner, runs her business, she is a very friendly person and sees to it that you are satisfied. Appointments are recomended, the place gets busy sometimes.
