Visiting Dr. Qadir was a disaster. Her lack of patients shows. I am a diabetic so I schedule appointments from time to time. I recently was there sick with the unfortunate flu. Dr. Qadir was going to prescribe me tamaflu but i explained to her that i had an allergic reaction. She asked where the reaction was and i could not recall on account it was more than 4 years ago. She started acting in an unprofessional manner and proceeded to talk down to me like a child. I treat everyone with respect but unfortunately she didn't have the courtesy. She was unable to prescribe an alternative and pretty much kicked me out of the office making me feel uncomfortable and humiliated. If i could report her to the B.B.B I would. I have never been in a situation like this with any of my primary care providers.
This was my second visit with Dr. Qadir and much like my first visit, it was excellent. I found Dr. Qadir on Zocdoc and read good reviews about her from other patients and decided to book an appointment. Unlike other doctors, Dr. Qadir has weekend hours and I was easily able to book my appointment on ZocDoc the day before. I was given the option to complete the forms online at Zocdoc and when I showed up to my appointment, the secretary had already received them. I waited less than fifteen minutes and was called back by the medical assistant. The medical assistant was very friendly and took my vitals. Shortly after the medical assistant left, Dr. Qadir came in. Dr. Qadir listened to my concerns and symptoms and made a course of treatment. She recommended that I followed up with her in two weeks for a physical because I was long due for one. The secretary set me up for an appointment and advised me that I should come to the physical fasting because they would be drawing blood. I was surprised they would be drawing blood at the office because my other primary care doctor sent me to a lab to get blood done. When I went to my physical, I experienced the same short wait time and the medical assistant performed an EKG and Spirometry test. The physical was very thorough and the medical assistant was better at taking blood then the technicians at the lab! I received a call back shortly after about my blood work from the doctor and she said that my blood work showed that I was vitamin D deficient and my thyroid levels were slightly elevated. She prescribed me a vitamin D prescription and scheduled a follow-up to check my thyroid and was able to refer me to an endocrinologist.I requested a copy of my blood work and saw that Dr. Qadir ran more tests than my other primary care doctor! She made sure to look at everything! All in all, Dr. Qadir and the staff made me feel very comfortable and cared for. I would highly recommend her.
Love this office. Love the staff. Dr Qadir is so sweet and down to earth. She spent more than 20 minutes with me explaining testing results and making sure I understood my options. She is very knowledgeable and caring. I recommend this office to all y family and friends. They all love it too!
Dr. Qadir has been my family doctor for several years now. She is a warm, professional and caring person and goes above and beyond in the care she gives. She always finds the time to have a real conversation about my health concerns that go beyond the basics. I feel truly cared for when I visit her.
I recently moved to Long Island and found Dr. Qadir through the internet. Very professional with a comforting beside manner (I hate needles). I did not feel I had wait long to be seen and the office was neat and clean. My wife and son have also made an appointment to see her.
