Dublin Hair & Nails-Day Spa

Been going to DHN for over 20 years; my first visit was due to getting a butcher job at a chain haircut salon; Lu Ann did an amazing job fixing the mess, and making my hair look almost natural again. Each time I make an appointment and sit down in the chair, I know I can expect a consistent, quality cut with no surprises. The atmosphere is small town comfortable, with no assembly line feel. Lu Ann always greets me by name, and is flexible in meeting my needs in setting appointment times. Highly recommended!
2 friends and I made a same day appt for a mani-pedi that the salon was offering a promotion on. The owner/manager begun my manicure. She had no up to date tools to do my manicure. She got up in the middle of my manicure to service a hair client. I was left waiting for over 30 minutes. She came back and informed me she would have done a parrafin wax on my hands but I was holding my baby..wow! I paid $45 for a regular manicure/pedicure and got awful service! Asia and the other gentleman that works there were polite and engaging but the manager was beyond disrespectful and rude!! She began to lecture her employees in front of her clients! Very unprofessional! For the area and the price..I'm extremely disappointed! We won't be returning!
Always a positive experience at Dublin Hair and Nails. Great location, nice bright decor, and great haircuts at a reasonable price.
My friend and I were both scheduled for a pedicure and a manicure by the manager. She scheduled us for the same time with the same person. We ended up waiting TWO HOURS for our appointment. To make matters worse? My pedicure turned out so horribly. When I confronted the manager about it, she had the nerve to say, "You wont find an American salon anywhere else like this." She is so disrespectful and unprofessional. I will not be returning. Also, I'm pretty sure I got an infection on my foot from the unwashed foot bath. It was dirty to begin with. This is just my personal experience, I cant speak for everyone, but I would never go there for a pedicure or a manicure (my friend's manicure was sloppy!). Worst establishment ever.
I just moved into the area in April and was looking for a salon to go to. I stopped in without an appointment and was embraced and felt welcomed by the owner of the salon and her employees. I was given a super hair cut and color and went home very happy. Since that day I have gone to the salon many times for a facial, pedicures, manicures, hair color and cuts. I have received many compliments on the color and cut of my hair. Just yesterday I received a compliment on the color and style of my cut just before a work out! I had not even tried to fix it! I know a good precision cut when I see one and that is what I get every time I go to Dublin Hair and Nails. The atmosphere is welcoming, the salon is clean and inviting. I would highly recommend this salon over most. You are personally treated and get the highest quality care for your money unlike some of the other larger salons where you are a number on an assembly line. YES! to Dublin Hair and Nails! And YES to the owner and her employees!!
