Went to Luna Blu for a haircut and had an awful experience with the hairdresser paired with me. When I arrived she hardly looked at the photo I brought and cut me off as I was explaining the style I wanted. When she washed my hair it was done as quickly as possible, and she just trimmed the ends of my current hairstyle. After she said she was finished (not even fully blown out) I politely expressed the fact my hair looked very similar as it did when I came in. She spoke extremely condecendingly and began to try and cut more off the front. After trimming one small section of hair and asking if that was what I wanted, her entire attitude made me want to leave immediately. There was no friendly conversation during the entire experience, and my wash-cut-blowdry lasted all of 18 minutes. A large waste of money, will not recommend anyone to go back there.

I wish I could give this place 0 stars. I went in, and the staff wan't very welcoming, there was no place to sit and wait for my appointment, so I stood there awkwardly for 20 minutes since my hairdresser was behind schedule. She was ver welcoming and nice, the environment was very relaxing. Unfortunately, I got home from my appointment and noticed that my hair was uneven and she even missed some pieces. I trimmed the very noticeable pieces and I going to a new salon to get it all fixed. I would not recommend this salon to anyone.

I am a new Luna Blu customer (for my hair). I am really happy with my experience so far. My stylist has flexible hours that accomodate my work schedule. All the stylists, including mine, routinely attend classes and shows to stay up on new techniques. I also purchased some pretty expensive hair-care products, more than I EVER spend on them. They really DO make my hair easier to style, so much so I am actually considering continuing to buy them! Finally, as a "townie", I appreciate Luna Blu's commitment to give back to the community.

This salon is just what is needed in the small town of Oxford. Fabulous service! As soon as you walk in, you're greeted and asked if you want one of their many selections of beverages. The prices are great for the service and experience you get. I'm a regular and I recommend this salon to everyone!

I went to Luna Blu for a relaxation massage and I was extremely disappointed. I specifically mentioned that I wanted the girl to focus on my back and shoulders rather than doing an entire body massage. What did she do? An entire body massage! And when I asked the girl for a deeper pressure massage, all she did was push down SO hard on my collar bone. I've had plenty of massages before and I don't even think the girl was certified, or if she was it seemed she had no clue where back muscles were located. At the end of my massage she recommended that I get a deep tissue massage additionally. I feel like I paid $70 for her to rub lotion on my back. I hardly got anything out of it and it was definitely not worth the money!
