Once in a blue moon you have the good fortune to spend time it in a place you just know that you'll return again and again. I've never been to a resort or hotel where the staff is as friendly and accommodating as Bedford Springs. I couldn't find a speck of dust. The staff is honest and helpful. The food is amazing and even when we decided to go in town for a meal, everyone was very happy to make recommendations. It was the most relaxing three days that I've had in years! The swimming pools were amazingly clean. Guests seemed happy at every turn and that makes for a wonderful opportunity to get to know new people and share the fun of being there. Don't miss the fire pit and s'mores in the evenings. We can't wait to go back!

I had high hopes for our stay on Saturday Oct 11th. Paid via the Omni website almost 700 dollars for one night in a deluxe queen room. From arrival until departure, you would have thought this was a two star hotel and for that you would have paid maybe 149. 1. Room had a dirty towel in it. 2. A pillow had dirt across it. 3. Shower curtain was lined with mold. 4. Doors were black in the bathroom from everyone opening and closing them. 5. Dishes were randomly left in the halls, noticed at check in at 330pm, they were still there at 11pm. 6. A/C in room sounded like the space shuttle was taking off. 7. Parts of the property were not clean. 8. Valet didn't open doors to car. Called down to have some of these items addressed, which they did fix the shower curtain and changed the bedding, but after awhile, just had to try and enjoy the stay or would have been on the phone with the hotel taking care of things the entire time. The food at 1796 was good, which partially saved the overnight stay, but spent $1000 that night when you add dinner just for two but I would never do it again. For the same money, you can stay at a Ritz Carlton in NYC at Christmas, or the beaches in Miami. And you will truly get 4-5 star service/accomodations all around. Oh, and I called Sunday after our stay, spoke to a manager that took notes and was going to call me back. Of course, haven't heard anything.

The nicest "home away from home" I've ever experienced. The food is fantastic and reasonably priced. You can get standard pub food or a nicer meal in one of the restaurants. I loved how we received a dining credit with our stay - very helpful. It felt like I was in the Titanic - turn of the century charm with modern conveniences. Next time we visit, we'll plan a trip in the spring so we can venture on their trails. With this and a mix of in-town trips, it's the perfect getaway. We will definitely be back. We stayed at this lovely resort a few months ago but I had failed to give it a review. We were there at the time due to a death in the family so things were a little chaotic. I just came across some photos of the room and thought that people need to know how wonderful this resort and the staff truly are. From the valet, to the Front Desk, to any staff we passed in the hall, there was a genuine smile and true customer service, (something that seems to be horribly lacking elsewhere in the hotel industry) The resort was immaculate, the rooms were beautiful, and the beds....oh the the beds. They just sucked you into this peaceful slumber. I seriously wanted to take that bed home with me. My husband and I plan on going back to enjoy a long weekend of golf and relaxation sometime soon.

We have just returned from a wonderful 2 night stay at the resort and I feel as though we were away for a week(wish it was!) The service, the cleanliness, and the food were top notch. The entire staff, from the valets to the store clerks, to the waiters and waitresses to the front desk, could not have been more accommodating or personable. Everyone makes you feel as though you are their only guest.I have some dietary issues, and any dish that needed tweaked to meet those needs was done with friendliness and true concern. Jim at 1796 and Liz at the Crystal room---you two are absolutely the best! We can't wait to return and enjoy the spa. Can't wait to return to total relaxation .
