If you want to be pampered and treated with the utmost respect... Market Street Salon is the place to go! The staff is very genuine, friendly and knowledgeable. I have had several massages and a facial or two there over the years- they are and always will be my first choice when needing a relaxing experience. As soon as you walk in, the staff greets you with a smile and always speaks in a low, patient, and relaxing voice to set the tone. The salon is lovely- a Victorian style historical home that was converted into a several floor level salon that makes the experience even more tranquil and surreal. Antique furnishings fill the place. And, the prices are reasonable for the superior service you will receive.

I called Market Street Manor for a last minute manicure. The woman told me they had nothing available that day but they could fit me in the next. I made an appointment for 9am. An hour later the same woman calls and tells me an opening came up later in the day for my pedicure. I remind her I wanted a mani not pedi several times throughout our conversation. I finally gave up and scheduled both a mani and a pedi at 10am the next day. An hour later she calls back again with more questions. I show up the next day at 9:55 and the whole building is locked and there is a closed sign on the door. I call and leave a message explaining what happened. No one ever called back. Don't waste your time!

I have always had bad skin problems and this is the only place that has ever been able to help me. The service is excellent and the spa and salon are housed in a gorgeous and unique Victorian Manor. The employees are caring and take the time to find out what you are looking for. I definitely would go back.
