Don't waste your time buying a Groupon because you will be treated like a second-class citizen. When the stylist, Yasmine, found out that were were Groupon customers, she was extremely rude to me and my daughter. She scowled at the length of her hair, and told me that the protein treatment would be increased by $20 because of the length of her hair. I felt as if I was being ripped off because nowhere on the Groupon did it state that there could be an additional charge. She hardly spoke to my daughter, left the protein treatment on for two minutes instead of the five, and quickly cut her hair. I was not happy with the hair cut because she still had a lot of split ends. I had her cut some more off he length and she just said, "There!" Extremely rude service. If you have a Groupon, you will be manipulated, so buyer beware.

The guy who cut my hair left my eyes watering and head throbbing for two hours after I left from how much he was pulling it and hitting my head with the brush as he brought it to my head, and i have no where near a sensitive head. It's like he had never worked with an actual human head before. When there was a knot in my head he would grab a very very thin toothed comb and just start trying to tear it off my head from the top of my head down instead of detangling it from the ends working up, as you can imagine this was literally excruciating pain. And washing your hair is supposed to be the most relaxing part.. but when he washed my hair he was just doing it very rough and not gentle at all, again this was so painful that I was twisting in the chair. This has never happened at any other salon and like I said my head/hair is no where near sensitive but this was the most horrible experience I've ever had in a salon. Not only that, but I told him I wanted long layers yet I walked out with the top layer of my hair being at the middle of my head, no where near long layers at all. I had voluminous thick hair now my hair looks flat, thin and lifeless because of how much he cut off. Never coming here again, this was the most pain I've ever been put through!!

I originally went in for a consultation about me wanting to cut all my hair off. she not only talked me out of it by being honest with me about my face shape, but then Cut, dyed and highlighted my hair!!!!! I wasn't even on schedule. because of this she had to stay an hour over time. she wasn't even mad about that. she had a great "mom" attitude. oh I forgot to mention, her hair cut dye and color was perfect. she's a real professional not to mention the staff in the studio was very friendly. I would recommend this place abd hair dresser to all new comers to corpus :)

I live in Houston and went to Corpus about a week ago. On the way out of Corpus I stopped at Salon Palomo unexpectedly. The nail tech that helped me was very friendly and was in no rush to leave being that it was end of day. I love my nails! The nail tech had great customer service! I will recommend people to use this salon and I will be returning as well.

I love this salon!! I'm a client of Marissa's and LOVE how meticulous and caring she is:) Great place!
