It is a pretty nice place for a first time spa experience. The facial, body scrub, and 1-hour massage is what I got and it was great. Go with the right people to have a relaxing, quiet time though. :-)

Well, my Daughter bought me an expensive gift package, but whenever I would call for an appointment after saying I had the gift certificate, they just could not find any open appointments….Pretty rude about it too!

I've used the Spa at Canyon Oaks services several times and overall had good experiences there, especially when it comes to massages (although I did have one massage therapist who talked rather loudly the entire hour--not real relaxing). I recently used a gift certificate I received for an express manicure/pedicure and I found the nail tech very personable and efficient. However, I was taken aback when I was told at check in I had to use the same color on my fingernails and toenails ( I type a lot so I like a neutral on the fingernails) because since it was an "express" service, the tech wouldn't have time. How long does it take to open two separate bottles of polish?!? Frankly I consider this policy beyond ridiculous. And considering the price of this express service--and believe me it is express with no hand or leg massage included--I would definitely steer clear. In fact, unless you have disposable income and aren't concerned with the cost, I'd use another salon closer into town for manicures and pedicures. But if you don't mind paying extra or driving a little further, or if you can catch one of their special sales, I'd recommend giving the massages a try, particularly for a special occasion. I would also avoid the body contour wrap that promises to shed inches, unless you count a total of maybe a temporary loss of an inch in various places worth the price.

My sweet husband bought a gift card for Christmas... Called 36 hours before to reschedule massage appointment, they denied my request and cleared out my gift card! #ripoffatcanyonoaks. I will NEVER use them again. WAY too overpriced anyway.

My wife and her friend love to go to the Spa here for birthdays. They have a lovely time.
