Just left the Ranch after staying there for Thanksgiving 2014. The rooms were rustic and private. We really enjoyed the cabin suites. We had 6 people in our party and 3 rooms. We wanted to go horseback riding but $400-$500 dollars including tip was just too much for a 1 hour ride. I didn't even ask about the archery or gun range. I just assumed those prices were too high as well. Now onto Food and Service which seems to be the biggest complaint with the resort. Unfortunately, I agree with the reviews. Our first night we tried the Steakhouse "The Dinner Bell." There were a total of 4 tables with guests when we arrived and left. The service was typical of a small town filling their waiter positions with local kids and older ladies so I was OK with that. My problem was how long it took to get our food and the temperature of the food. We ordered queso and chips and it took 15 minutes to get the appetizer and it was cold so I sent it back and it still came out luke warm. We ordered our meals at 7:00 pm and the meal arrived at 8:00 pm after other tables that arrived after us received their meals. The waiter kept saying I'm sorry and is there anything he could get us while we continue to wait, we all laughed. I told him there is no way it should take an hour to prepare meals for 5 people with only 4 tables in the house. He apparently told the Manager and she apologized when the food came out and offered us free deserts. We took her up on her offer. They have such an opportunity to be good but have got to change their cook times. So I tipped the kid close to 30% and we left knowing we wouldn't be back even though we were staying there 3 more nights. The next day we had their Thanksgiving buffet and while it was good the food was still luke warm and some of it even cold. We drove to Graham for the rest of our meals. I am not trying to be mean but this is my honest assessment and experience.

Awsome getaway for locals you can swim along side ausies, Scotts, irish, chinese, korean ETC, a real nice view get a cabin and take the gun range tour, and horse ride, the guide couldn't have been nicer. A real rustic feel, real private. and the pool is wonderful.

I am having my wedding there soon and I have had the worst time trying to plan around all the rules and regulations. They have given me false information and tried to get more money from me. After I signed the contract, all the room prices went down to an affordable price and they refused to uphold that price on the website. They wouldn't even let me borrow something simple as a ladder to help me hang decorations. I wanted to use a couple small hay bales and was told its $18 just to rent for an hour. The last time I ate there, the food was cold and service was horrible. They are not flexible what so ever. And all they seem to care about is taking money. I would not recommend this a place to eat or have a wedding. I pray everything will go smoothly on the wedding day.

We recently had our company retreat there and everything was FABULOUS! The staff was incredibly accommodating and the nicest people we've ever come across. (Especially Jay &Tanya) The food was great and the activities were perfect for our time there. The cabins were really quaint and made you feel like you were truly living in the wild, wild, West. I would highly recommend this place for any company outing or family trip

Great location, scenery and people! Food was fantastic and different things to do, even a chance to just kick back and watch the sunset at the pool. Spectacular views and experiences.
