Nicole Day Spa

Excellent experience and reasonable cost. I have been frequenting for about 6 months, refer by a customer. Henry cuts my hair, excellent job & interesting banter.
This was the best spa I have been to in years! I went in for a shampoo blowout and the scalp massage was awsome as well as the end result. While there i was inspired to get additional services including a manicure and pedicure, brow wax and mini massage..and i walked out feeling like a million bucks. That male pedicurist gives a SUPER massage...I'll never go anywhere else. Luck was on my side today!!
I used to be a regular at Nicole Day Spa but stopped going for several reasons (regular nail technician began to get lazy, a refusal to do a mani-pedi at the same time because the teenage boy receptionist said it was a "hassle" to move the equipment over to the pedi chairs, and another technician actually burned me during pedicure requiring medical treatment, etc.). However, my mother-in-law still buys me gift certificates so I try to go back every 6-7 months. The owners are nice and the location is convenient so I always hope they will regain my loyalty. Well, I'm finally done and will tell my mother-in-law to NEVER purchase another gift certificate from these guys again. Last week, I went in for a basic $25 pedicure. Since my gift certificate was for $35, I asked for gel polish instead of regular polish. The pedicure was ok - not great - but ok. When I went to check out, I got a bill for $65 -- $25 for the basic pedicure and an additional $40 for the gel polish (which costs $8/bottle at ULTA and an additional $10 - $15 at any other day spa in Southlake). I asked the same teenage boy receptionist if he was sure about the pricing and he just stared blankly and nodded. I told him that was WAY out of line for the area. He looked at me blankly. I asked if I could speak to his mom (the owner) and he said she was busy. He never showed me a printed price list, never got confirmation from anyone else and charged me $65 for a basic (ie. no mask, no callus removal, no paraffin) pedicure with gel. I emailed Nicole Day Spa hoping to get clarification and resolution and, 4 days later have heard nothing. It hurts me to say this about a salon I used to love but you will have a better experience and get more value at one of the many, many other spas in the area.
My hairdresser Karen Do does a wonderful job there. Moving from new york it was hard to find someone i liked. Well i found her. She does my color and cut the way i want it. Would highly recommend her.
Janice at Nicole Day Spa & Salon is a expert w color! I went to my regular salon at the Galleria for highlights and left with copper brassy red streaks all through out my dark brown hair. On the drive home I decided to "walk-in" to Nicole Day Spa for a free corrective color consult. Janice got to work right away to give me the color/highlights I desired (lighter brown with natural golden highlights) It was several hours in the chair but now my hair looks fabulous! I am very impressed with the employees at Nicole Day Spa and Salon as well as all of the services they provide. My experience was a very positive one. I'm in my 40's and struggle with gray's. I wanted a lighter, fresher, natural look. Janice not only fixed the awful red but gave me exactly what I had hoped for! I'm very glad I walked-in! You will be as well ;0)
