I LOVE Afterglow! Michelle has been doing my hair for over three years now, and I go to Casey for pedicures. I used to live in Boston and have been to plenty of swanky spas on Newbury Street. How fortunate are we in the Mad River Valley to have this talent. The quality results and warm service at Afterglow cannot be matched anywhere. Michelle has a true gift with hair color and styling. Casey's pedicures are the best I have ever had! I am very pleased with their new location - it's an ideal fit for the business and for their customers.

I'll have to admit, I was a little weary at first finding a salon in "rural" Vermont. I was born and raised outside of NYC, so I am picky and my expectations are very high. When I first heard of Afterglow, I didn't really have my hopes up too high...I thought to myself, well I will give it a try...a hair trial can't hurt! Michelle, the owner of Afterglow Salon,runs her salon and spa which is connected to her home , but it is truly beautiful and calming. Michelle took the time to listen and work with me during my bridal hair trial. I came in with photos that I had in mind and she made sure that at the end, I got what I wanted. She is patient and truly listened to what I had to say and could see the end result (the vision). Many stylists get caught up with their ego and pride and sometimes let that get in the way of what the client really wants or needs. Michelle is unpretentious and so down to earth. Talking to her was like talking to a good friend. The end result surpassed my expectations!! I am beyond amazed at what my hair looked like at the end...I have never felt so beautiful in my life.
