I go to Great Wolf Lodge every year and it's always so much fun, there's a water park that includes a kitty pool for the little ones, fun water slides, awesome pools and a hot tub for the grown ups, there is also a MagiQuest which is always fun for the kids, there a arcade that is super fun and a spa for the kids and the grown-ups! When ever you go vacationing you need to go here! trust me, it's awesome!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

We went to Great Wolf Lodge for the first time two weekends ago with our two kids, age 10 and 8. We had a great time at the water park. The lifeguards were nice and the slides and other activities were really fun and kept us entertained for the evening we arrived and then entire next day. If I could change a couple things about the water park, I would want to be able to take the towels they provide out of the park (to the room or to wrap up in if you wanted to go outside to get something to eat) and I would want more tables to be available to sit at while eating. As it was, tables were mostly being used to hold up various bags/flipflops/shirts from the patrons and there were few free to use if you just went to order food at the snack bar. It would be nice to have some "for eating snack bar food only" tables. My main complaint for the trip (and why I did not give 4 or 5 stars) was that our room air conditioning did not work and I got a poor response when I asked if someone could come look at it. When I discovered this problem at 9:45 PM (our room was 86 deg. F!), I called to see if someone could come fix it and was told there were a few calls ahead of me but that someone would come. No one ever came up. After making multiple calls and being told that a facilities person was on their way, I finally gave up and went to bed with the sliding door to the deck left wide open so we could get some air. Someone else had their window open too and we got to hear their screaming baby for about 45 minutes. That was fun. I finally fell asleep to the freeway noise and an occasional train. In the morning, after going down to let the front desk know that the air conditioning was still a problem, I found out they had ONE maintenance person on staff and had had a lot of calls that night. OKAY. I WISH they would have been honest with me the night before so I could have given up earlier and gone to bed. When I complained about the entire issue, you would think I would have gotten a “we’re so sorry, here's a free breakfast buffet or a free card for the arcade for your very hot relatively sleepless night”. But no, all I got was a shrug and a sorry (at least they did SAY sorry)! I think they should have at least offered a discount or SOMETHING to show that they were actually sorry about the problem with the room. The cost of a one night trip (no discounts were available when we had time off) was really pretty high for just a one night stay and a water park admission so you would think they at least would provide you with a room with all the necessary functioning features.

Water slides are better than those at Lynwood Recreation Center... But not $400 better. And if it's peak season, your kids will have to wait ten minutes or more for the popular slides. (There's also a puzzling shortage of inner tubes.) Facility is well maintained and life guards are attentive. Be forewarned of the "fees and taxes" line on your bill. Between the two, expect to pay 20% more than the actual room rate. (They say the "fee" covers mandatory "extras" like the spotty wifi and the exercise room. Really, the only difference between the fee and the room rate is that you don't notice the former til you get your bill.)

Loved da Wolf Lake Lodge!!! Very kid friendly n quality family time together. Lots of kid activity's like The Magi Quest, Shadow Quest scavenger hunts, 4-D shooting video game, huge Arcade room, a black light glow in da dark mini golf, story time daily, and afterwards disco dancing, but the most n best thing there is da indoor swimming pool, with intense thrill rides, like the howling wolf ride it was awesome, fast, n mean adrenaline rush of yr life time. The only down fall is the long waits in line just to get to the top n ride the ride. Love the indoor snow from da ceiling coming down. Good food at the pool. Burger was delicious. Nice people n workers are kind n says hi to you when yr a guest there. I would recommend going there again just to get away. Have a blast with yr loving family. Rooms was nice n clean. Live Alohaz!!!
