I got a pedicure at Downtown Designs and the lady who did my pedicure was very nice, but had a tendency to talk to her co-workers more than myself, her customer. She also did not clean under my toe nails or do some of the things any other place I have gone to does. Decided to pay the extra $5 to get a french tip; big mistake. Places I have gotten french tip from puts the white tip on and then sculpts it, she literally just dabbed it on and put the clear coat on. Needless to say the white was very sloppy!!!! Then two days later my pedicure started chipping off one by one. A week after my pedicure I have nothing left because it has all chipped off. When I get a pedicure anywhere else my polish lasts at least 2 weeks. Paid $42.00 for a pedicure that didn't even last a freaking week!!!!! So very disappointed with how much I paid and had to go get another somewhere else within a week!
I just went in to get any split ends trimmed up but when I got home i realized my hair was an inch longer on the sides then on the top, and my hair was only three inches on the top so it was a big difference. I called in to see when I could get it fixed and was asked if I could come right back in then when I got in I asked the women who was about to fix up my hair to spray down my hair with some conditioner or something because every time a stylist tries to dry comb my hair it turns out bad. Then she had the nerve to tell me that they where about to close so she didn't have the time for that. NEVER AGAIN
I just got my hair cut by Hillary at Downtown Designs Salon and am really happy with the way she cut my hair. The salon is nice, seems very professional and was a pleasant surprise after not having my hair cut for four months for lack of knowing where to go. I'm glad that I decided to give this salon a try and would recommend it (and Hillary) to anyone.
