Have been going here for the last year or so. On and off. But will not be going back. I did the right thing by calling the salon and letting them know that I wouldn't be able to make my appointment. And the young woman on the phone, decided to tell me (in a rude matter) that's how it came across. That their was a 24 hour cancellation fee. Because i had called 45 minutes prior to my appointment. I'm sorry but the that's not good enough, in some cases it's hard to give 24 hour notice that I won't be able to make my appointment. At least I called! My response back to her was, I've never heard that before. So with that being said, they've now lost my business, I'll go elsewhere. And if there is a 24 hour cancellation policy for appointments, maybe you should advertise this. I've called up many times before to cancel appointments and no-one had said anything to me. The only thing that was said to me - was would you like to make another booking. Very, annoyed! I have been back a few times and i have been treated much better, So it seems the person who spoke to me rudely has been dealt with.

I went to this salon when I was visiting my friends in Sydney last month. It was money well spent! I got a full set of foils and a massage and loved every minute of it! I felt so pampered and my hair looked hot! I am definitely going there next time! Thanks Esteem!

I was really disappointed after reading great reviews I thought I would try this salon out. I was sat in a chair where I waited 45mins before being spoken too. The girl who did my hair seemed to be on a power trip and was being real bossy to the other staff (over ally bossy) she also seemed annoyed at fact everyone was having lunch and she wasn't. I believe her name could of been Emily. She was not friendly one bit. I had full head foils which took 4 hours I always have full head foils going from brown to blonde, or blonde re growth or blonde and brown foils or different type foils but I have never sat in a chair for four hours. The girl was very slow but rough at the same time she didn't bother to make small chat or even talk to me about what I wanted in my hair. Once the foils were out my hair was a range different colours, underneath my hair is a very damaged white blonde and throughout the top I have light and patchy copper colour and very very damaged I have bought at another salon over $100 products to rectify my damaged hair!!! They are also over priced way over priced!!! Very underwhelming experience I won't ever go back! Your basically paying top dollar to sit in a nice salon for an hour. They dont even ask how you want your color to look you say blonde foils and they assume you want normal blonde, don't ask if you want ashy, dull, light anything very unprofessional and highly priced. I've been to less appealing salons and paid much less for service that actually put effort in the color there giving you - not to mention my color faded within 3 days. Its also 30 dollars to get your hair treated with your colour.... i think if they want to charge double the average price they should emply some stylist that are very very high up.

Loved my visit to Esteem Hair & Beauty! ive been to many hairdressers in the area and couldnt find anyone who could get my colour right. These guys nailed it and yes it isnt the cheapest salon but you pay for what you get.. ill be back!
