DO NOT purchase any products from Harbour Spas!!! I am a extremely unsatisfied customer. We purchased a Cal Spa in 2011 and it has been under near constant repairs since. I understand that products do need to be repaired at times and this is not the problem. The sever lack of customer care that exists at this business, combined with a lack of respect for customers is what pushed me to write this review. There is almost no communication between departments and this extends to customers. I have requested a permanent solution to the problems we have been facing for the last two years and all I have received in response is "all we can do is hope for no more problems". There has been no resolution and no willingness to help to solve the problems, or look for an alternate solution. Long story short we have been told "sorry for your luck". It is very unfortunate that in a small community like Red Deer we are unable to trust our local business to uphold a trustworthy business practice. Very disappointed!
I like the selection. They are much more than just hot tubs. They have pool stuff, jet tubs and soaker showers, poker tables and classic arcade games, BBq's and smokers, and Gazeebos and patio furnature and umbrellas, and all kinds of other stuff. Definately worth the visit. Lots of things you can't find elsewhere.
TERRIBLE TERRIBLE BUSINESS PRACTISE!!! These people DO NOT KEEP THEIR PROMISE and HAVE NO RESPECT FOR OTHER PEOPLE’S TIME. DO NOT TRUST THEM OR YOU WILL REGRET IT. I went into the Calgary store last summer looking at hot tubs when my house was being built. Store manager Shaun seemed to be an ok guy at first but that’s only when he’s trying to sell you something. They had a sale on and I could put down $500 deposit to hold the sale until my house is finished. I asked Shaun multiple times and he assured me that the deposit is FULLY REFUNDABLE and there is no obligation to buy. When my house was finished last Oct the financing for the hot tub didn’t work out so I had to ask for my deposit back. The first time I went there Shaun said they had to get approval from Red Deer office and will get back to me in a week. I haven’t heard anything for a month, call them back and they said they are still working on it. I called them many many times they always say Shaun is not available and will call me back in a minute. He never does. After 6 months and countless phone calls, visits and unreturned messages I realized I had wasted enough time with these people so I phone and told the girl on the phone that I will file a BBB complaint if I don’t get the money back in a week. Shaun called me back and said he had my money and set up a time to meet at the store. I left work early to get there on time and he was gone for the day. The girl took down my credit card number and told me they will do a refund on the card. Then more phone calls and more “Shaun will call you right back”’s for another month or two, they told me to be there 9:00 in the morning. I missed work and get there at 9am (they open at 9am) and the store wasn’t even open. I waited until 9:20 and not a single person showed up at the store. So I had to leave my debit card at the door then phone to leave a message and say if you don’t refund my money and send me the card by express today I will file a BBB report. Shaun called me and said he will take care of it. Then he called back and said he can’t refund on a debit card but he can do that on my credit card over the phone. So HE COULD HAVE REFUNDED ME OVER THE PHONE ALL THESE TIME BUT CHOSE TO WASTE ME COUNTLESS OF HOURS! And he also promised to send me the card. But the next morning I got a call from a girl at the store said “I NEED you to come pick up your card.” That’s her exact words, AFTER WHAT THEY DID TO ME I NEVER GOT AN APOLOGY AND NOW SHE SOUNDS LIKE A BOSS. I told her Shaun promised to send that to me and she said “You want me to put your debit card in the mail? Ok.” How much is express within the city going to cost? $20? Every single meaningless visit to them cost me more than twice of that at work! How can you expect any customer service if you bought stuff from people this cheap?! I am so glad that I didn’t end up purchasing a hot tub from them. I did the same deposit with Jacuzzi Calgary to hold a sale because I couldn’t decide with one to go with. Just one call they refunded my deposit to my credit over the phone no questions asked. The manager even followed up with a phone call and letter thanking me for my interest. Unlike some company that only cares about money, they care about me even after they lost the business. When the time is right, guess who I will be trusting my hard earned money with?
I bought my hot tub at Harbour Spas in Red Deer and the people there are so knowledgable! I shopped around and was glad I did. It was a big purchase for our family and everyone loves it.I would definatley recommend them to anyone anytime :)
