this is a great gym, and would be deserving of 5 stars, if the assortment of free weights wasn't god awful. I can't even count how many times I've had to walk up and down the rack, staring and staring just looking for the match of another dumbbell. 100's with 35's, 40's with 17.5's, 30's with no match, 50's on the complete opposite side of the gym, what in the hell is going on? Every gym I've ever been to has prided themselves on cleanliness and organizational skills. Hire someone who's main job is to walk around the gym, provide a friendly face to the clients, and clean things and organize them. Or at least enforce the "put free weights back in their proper place" rule you say you have. Aside from that one thing, it's a fantastic gym and a great work out environment.

One of the best goodlife locations. Lots of space and air circulation, great equipment set up.

The special thing about this place is the Hot Yoga. There are several different Hot Yoga classes, but they're all the same. These classes are packed mat to mat. The corporate-planned fitness class are well designed, But all the instructors I met are always late. I made an appointment with a personal trainer named Justin. After waiting for 5 minutes, I asked the front desk and they just told me to wait. I waited another 5 minutes and they told me he has arrived, just wait. I waited another 5 minutes, only to realize that he has been sitting at next table chit chatting with a friend. (I'd never met him, I thought he was another trainer advising another client) It's highly unprofessional. He gave me an assessment that was not at all useful. I was still angry from being disrespected, so my blood pressure was too high to have a full fitness assessment. He only did measurements. The electric scale result showed that I have 33% fat and 71% water. He failed to explain why I'm a summary of 104% fat and water. He seemed to be insufficiently educated. He argues that the human body should contain 75% water... and many more pseudoscience. I joined the club with Groupon for just one month to test it out. I have been using the city's recreational centres and thought private clubs would offer better services. I did like the facility, it looks new and clean. But I have a gym at home myself, my focus is trainers. Their poster specifically promotes 4 quadrants of health - Diet, Energy, Weight, Sleep. My primary goal was to treat insomnia, but Justin just assumed, "How much weight you want to lose?" When I told him it is Sleep that I care about, he told me a few things to do that was not scientifically proven to work, such as "just relax!". If I can control my anxiety like that, would I need you to tell me? It makes me feel that they can't actually offer what they promise. They have dried paper towels and spray bottles. I'm used to having wet wipes to clean the machines after every use in other places. I have not seen anyone cleaning after themselves in this club. Another thing about the members, 90% of the women never bring locks to the changing room. You'd open locker after locker only to find the entire row was occupied. On my average visit, it takes 15 tries before I open an empty locker. It is very frustrating, annoying and time consuming. It also adds 5-10 minutes to my routine. The parking lot is always very packed. It takes me 5-10 minutes to find a parking. So on an average visit, driving 5 minutes, parking 10 minutes, locker 10 minutes, late trainers 10 minutes, locker again 5 minutes, drive home 5 minutes. I have to spend additional 45 minutes for a 30-minute mediocre fitness class. With the trainer being late, parking and annoying locker problems. This club is reserved for people with low value of time, a tolerance for low hygiene, and responds well to placebo fitness advice.
