Elements Massage Paradise Valley

I wasn't completely satisfied with the service. I called the place scheduling an appointment for a $44 massage for 55 min, which is a Groupon I had. When I arrived a different lady checked me in and said that I had called asking about the wellness program and that I told the lady on the phone I wanted a 80 minute massage. I never said a word about any of that. She proceeded to question me and then tried to convince me to sign up and upgrade to an 80 minute massage. I told her no and she was rude and unprofessional. The massage was alright but not the best I have had. I asked for a firm massage, and the next 3 days I ended up suffering from back pain. She did deep tissue and that's not what I wanted. To top it off, the receptionist proceeded to drag me into signing up for the program before I left. Overall, I wouldn't go back to this place.
I was initially a skeptic on the value of Therapeutic Massage, but no longer. Slavica is able to work the muscles, finding the layers of trigger points, and relaxing them. I came in for tingling in both arms, and she was able to "do her magic", and within 1 visit, the tingling was gone from one arm... The other side proved to be stubborn, but after each visit, I would have less and less tingling. Today, the tingling is gone, she is able to focus on other areas that crop up between visits. Slavica is always asking if, when doing the deeper massage, if I am in pain and if she needs to lighten up; she is always checking to make sure that I am comfortable and doing well. I cannot say enough about her knowledge and professionalism; I keep coming back, so I must be pleased.
I never thought I would get a massage let alone get one regularly. But once I had my first massage at Elements, I was a convert! I am a member now and look forward to my monthly appointments. I also get an upgrade during my birthday month - a nice perk (I've had the hot stone massage which was great). When my husband started having some numbness in his arms, I suggested a massage. He reluctantly went, but after a couple of sessions, the numbness subsided. He now goes regularly, too. Slovika is the masseuse we see and in addition to being a Master masseuse, she is also a Reiki master if you're into that. Love, love, love Elements!
It was the best.
