I have to say I agree about the service being less than satisfactory here. When I went in the price for a spa pedicure was $23 but by the time the I left the price was $30 because the buffed my feet. That is normally included in a spa pedicure but with them it was considered a extra. Really?! Then the employees kids were running everywhere and yelling. Is this how people run businesses now. Then the lady who did my manicure kept trying to sell me a $40 package which I had to decline twice. And why I waiting for my nails to dry I watched a bug run across the floor, that the male nail tech tried to kill with out anyone noticing. Nasty... I will definitely go back to normal shop off of 19th ave, regardless of the distance.
This place has become terrible. I have tried to go back and give it another chance twice now and each experience has been worse than the one before. I went in today to get a gel manicure, when I got there 2 members of the staff were arguing over who should have gotten the last tip. The owner, I think her name is Tina, was on the phone the entire time she did my nails, my manicure lasted less than 20 minutes. I was rushed to pick a color and when she put it on one finger I said it was too bright and she told me no it looks good you'll like it when I finish. I couldn't even object because she just continued with her phone conversation. She was so preoccupied that she just stopped mid massage and then waved her hands at me as if to say you're done. I couldn't believe that they would charge as much as they do when the service is this crappy. I will never return even though it is convienent and close to my work and home.
Horrible experience at this shop! Went in for a manicure Sunday only to have my nails so coated up with polish that is was lumpy and wouldn't dry. I went back Monday to ask for them to repaint my nails only to have the owner, Kim, laugh at me and be rude. I will never return to this place.
I was rushed in and out. This place used to be A+, but has sadly gone down hill. Went in for a manicure with gel polish and was done in 15 minutes! She hacked at my cuticles, cut my fingers open a few times, and missed a lot more than she clipped. My polish is not the best, and she slapped some lotion on my arms and I was done. For a $30 manicure, I would have expected better results. I will go back to Angel Nails on 39th Avenue & Pinnacle Peak, even though the usually have a wait, they are worth it!
This is the worst pedicure I've ever had. She rushed me into the chair, didn't give my feet any time to soak in the water, which was cold. No customer service whatsoever. She automatically told me I needed the $50 pedicure, when I told her no thank you, she proceeded to sell me other things. Which I declined. She never offered me a magazine or water (small things that make a big difference) and never turned on my chair. She only spent about 3 minutes massaging each leg, each of which she used a very minimal amount of lotion. Not to mention, she kept getting up to answer the phone the whole time. The was no music or tv on in the salon and the constant loud talking in Vietnamese was not relaxing at all. She rushed me in and out in 30 min. I basically paid 25 dollars for someone to paint my nails. It was a complete rip-off...do not waste your money!!
